What are the general rules of Cleveland Play House?
Ticket Exchanges If you are unable to attend your scheduled performance of one of our productions, you may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production. It is now easier than ever to exchange. Just give the ticket office a call with your tickets in hand. See the instructions below or on the back of your tickets: Exchanges are accepted until one hour before the date and time on your tickets. To ensure adjacent seating with other theatre-goers in your group, exchanges must be submitted together. Exchanges received separately will be seated as close together as possible. If exchanging to a higher-priced performance, the full difference in cost is due at the time of the exchange. Refunds are NOT given for exchanges into a lesser-priced performance. For non-subscribers, a $5.00 per ticket exchange fee will be charged and is payable at the time of the exchange. In person: 8500 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, OH 44106-0189 By phone: You may exchange your tickets by phone up to one hour before your scheduled performance. Call us at 216-795-7000, option 4. You will need to have your tickets handy at the time of the call, as the ticket service agent will be asking you for the bar code number of each ticket that needs to be exchanged. Lost Ticket Replacement On the date of your scheduled performance, if your tickets are misplaced, call the Box Office at (216) 795-7000 ext. 4, and request replacements. A duplicate set of tickets will be waiting for you at the Box Office at no additional charge. Late Seating Patrons who arrive late for performances will need to wait until an appropriate break in the performance and then may be seated in alternate seats. After intermission, patrons may be reseated in their ticketed seat location. Appropriate seating for latecomers is at the sole discretion of the director of each production and the House Manager. Due to the nature of live theatre, we reserve the right to change venues, shows, performers, dates, times, and pricing. Emergency Contact As a courtesy to the actors and other audience members, please turn off your watch alarm, beeper, and cell phone, or set them to a non-audible mode. Any patron who may need to be contacted should leave his/her name, theatre, and seat location, as well as our telephone number (216) 795-7000, ext. 0 with the babysitter or answering service. Inclement Weather The Cleveland Play House does not cancel or reschedule performances or offer refunds due to inclement weather.
