About

After taking a season off to promote her latest album Lotus, Christina Aguilera has returned to judge The Voice: Season 5 and also contributed a song to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.

Introduced to the world as a member of the New Mickey Mouse Club in 1994 (along with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, among others), Christina Aguilera first gained notoriety as a solo artist with a song from the Disney film Mulan,” Reflection.” The song peaked at #20 and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. She followed that success with her debut album, which spawned the hit singles Genie In A Bottle and What A Girl Wants, both chart-toppers. From that point on, Aguilera’s career has been non-stop, with chart-topping hits like “Beautiful” and “Dirrty.” In 2003, Aguilera’s co-headlining Justified & Stripped tour with Justin Timberlake generated nearly $20 million dollars in ticket sales. With her signature powerhouse voice and trained dance moves, Aguilera’s concerts are filled with energetic, thrilling performances. She brought that energy to her collaboration with Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink on the classic disco song “Lady Marmalade,” which spent five weeks at the top of the Hot 100 Billboard Chart. Aguilera also records in Spanish as well as in English, and plans to release new material in 2014.

    Short but so good

by J-Rock on 2/6/24Voltaire at The Venetian Resort - Las Vegas

She doesn't come out until almost midnight and the show is exactly one hour. I wish the setlist was a little different but she gave 100% through the entire show and sounded amazing.

    Voltaire

by Ryan on 2/5/24Voltaire at The Venetian Resort - Las Vegas

The show was advertised as Christina, i assumed we’d get 90 mins or more of Christina, much like the Adele residency. Instead we got an hour of other performers, which were fine, and an hour of Christina. Venue could do a better job communicating that.

Great but short show in a weird venue.

    by Joe on 2/3/24

First off, Christina is great. Looks great. Sounds great is entertaining and does all her hits. Having said that, the setup of the venue is just bad. I wouldn't recommend going unless you can secure a table in front. Voltaire is a small venue inside the Venetian Hotel. Sounds great. Small venue limited to 1000 people. The venue is divided into 2 sections. Tables with bottle service surround the stage. If you get a table, there is a minimum bottle service order requirement. Surrounding the tables is a general admission standing room only section. First off, show time is 9:45. At 10:00, the pre-show starts. The show is typical Vegas. Acrobatics, pole dancing and dancing. The show is just average compared to other similar shows in Vegas. That goes to 11. There is a 30 minute break and Christina finally takes the stage at 11:30. She is great. The show starts getting really good and abruptly ends at 12:30. She does most of her hits but some songs are cut short. I really wanted more. The problem with the venue is the General Admission area. While it was great that I was pretty close to the stage and actually only 4 ft away from Christina when she was walking through the audience, viewing the stage can be a challenge. You really need to get up front because if you end up behind tall individuals, they will block your view. Also, there is a lot of movement going on, so people will walk in front of you in the middle of a song. Just not a great setup.

XTina is perfect. The venue is awful.

    by Becks on 2/3/24

First let me say … Christina is flawless. This venue is the actual worst. General admission turned out to be standing room only. If you’re short… get there early and don’t move the entire night. Otherwise the tallest people will get in the front. If people have their phones out, good luck being able to see. There’s no video on the big screen in the back. So you’re constantly moving your head to see. The ticket said 9:45. Several other acts started at 10. Christina came out at 11:30. We had no idea that would happen. This venue really needs to redo their structure. And they should explain how the show works and that it’s standing room only for Gen admin. I feel like the tickets should have been cheaper solely based on the fact we didn’t have an actual seat. Christina is amazing. Voice is incredible. But the venue is genuinely awful.

Great show!!! Just 1 1/2 hour late start

by Husband of biggest fan on 1/2/24Voltaire at The Venetian Resort - Las Vegas

She can still sing and puts on a great show. For the people standing, the late start was not the greatest. Any other artist I would've been out.

    Epic show

    by Angelo Arns on 1/2/24

Christina never disappoint us. Everything was perfect. She is so beautiful and still has great vocals and moves. The show was incredible, I have no words to describe how friendly with the audience she was. The VIP service at the Voltaire was expensive but it worth every penny to see Christina singing live so close. I definitely recommend.

Christina was amazing, but terrible venue

    by Bryan on 1/2/24

Christina was amazing and absolutely delivered on every level once she came out. We’ve been to many residencies in Vegas, and this one was sadly the worst experience because of the venue alone. It’s a shame Christina chose to do her residency at Voltaire because I can’t recommend this to others. It’s very clear that this venue mainly focuses on their bar service. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty in there, but that wears off quickly when you’re standing for 3 hours. If you want an actual seat, you will be paying for that premium table that also requires a hefty minimum in bar service. Make sure to read the fine print! Otherwise, the rest of the crowd is stuck standing for the entire show. As I said, we’ve been to many residencies and I’ve never waited so long for the main act to come out. It was filler act after filler act and then another 45 minutes where a DJ was entertaining the crowd like a nightclub to keep the crowd engaged. Christina came out nearly two hours later to perform for about an hour. Again, Christina was 🔥, Voltaire not so much.

    Fantastic & Stunning

by Doug E Fresh on 12/31/23

Rave review. Christina and her actual segment of the show was flawless. Her voice is as strong as ever! She looks amazing! Amazing crowd interaction. Great costumes and stage. Vegas Quality Experience. Now to the reality. 2 hours of standing room only before Christina comes out... And the early acts are circus freak show level. Wife & I were not informed two third of the show, would be drag show.

    Wow wow wow

    by Andrew on 9/21/23

This was truly an amazing experience. Christina invited my sister to come watch her at the Radio Music City Hall and it was absolutely amazing. She wanted to meet my sister before the show and was the sweetest soul ever. She then sang her heart out and it was spectacular.

Too long wait ended up being worth it

by Bjarne on 10/10/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Ticket said show was 7pm, Hollywood Palladium usually open doors 45 minutes prior to showtime so I was there at 6:45pm. Doors opened at 7pm and then somebody mentioned show was being live streamed starting at 8:30pm, hmmm - 8:30 came and went, by 9ish I was getting tired and annoyed (there is no seating at the Palladium), others were too and several were getting so wasted they could hardly stand up - but by 9:15pm Christina Aguilera showed up and made it all good. In top form, shape and voice she delivered 100%, just phenomenal. Loved the venue and the artist, just wish it had started out better.

    Strong Vocals,

    by C. K. on 10/9/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Christina Aguilera is a very powerful singer and a presence on stage. The Hollywood Palladium is just the space to take full advantage of her vocals. However, the whole concert felt very corporate with Citi Bank as the sponser, almost overpromoting themselves more than Christina. It also seemed moreso that she was contractually obiligated to be there versus a genuine desire to perform (hench why the concert was only 50 minutes long). Nonetheless, it was a very entertaining show filled with classic hits, great sound and impressive visuals.

    by Sunchick116 on 10/9/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Christina is always amazing! She’s a fantastic performer! Two things that I don’t know who can do anything about-she was 45 minutes late and her set was only an hour! Paying $100 for an hour set seemed a rip off!

by MamaC on 10/9/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Started after 9pm ended about 1015. Pretty short considering we waited in line outside and inside for 2 hours. Performances were good, but would’ve liked to hear main act sing more and full length of songs.
