Chris Tomlin is a singer and songwriter in the Christian music industry, best known for huge hits like "How Great Is Our God" and "Indescribable." His live performances are treated like one big worship time, and fans can expect clear vocals, a strong faith-based message, and a full band accompaniment. Tomlin's tours include the 2018 Worship Night in America Tour, the 2017 Chris Tomlin Christmas Tour, the 2007 How Great Is Our God Tour, the 2010 Hello Tomlin Tour, the All Things New Tour and various tours with Passion Conferences. Some of his biggest accomplishments have been winning a Grammy for the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for And If Our God Is For Us... in 2012 and dozens of nominations and wins at the GMA Dove Awards. Tomlin also won Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011.

Chris Tomlin Background

Chris Tomlin was born the town of Grand Saline, Texas, on May 4, 1972. He was the oldest of three boys, and his father was the first person to introduce him to music when he gave him his first guitar. Tomlin started writing his own worship music at the young age of 14. He went to college at Texas A&M University to study physical therapy but continued to work as a worship leader at area youth conferences. In 1997, pastor and motivation speaker Louie Giglio asked Tomlin to work with Passion Conferences -- a Christian organization targeted at young adults -- and that's where his Christian music career really began. His first solo album was released in 2001, and he has had several songs hit the top of the Christian Copyright Licensing International charts.     Great venue, great seats, I like the cup holder in front of our seat, bathrooms and floors are always clean. I also like the self serve kiosk when you’re in a hurry.

    Healing for the soul

    I'm grateful for this experience, I've listened/sung to Chris Tomlin's worship music since I was a girl and I'm grateful I got to bring my own child to one of his concerts. I bought tickets last minute to surprise my 10 year old son after grabbing him from school and getting dinner..he wasn't excited. We were a bit late, but right before Chris started which was perfect! I began crying when the first song came on.. I couldn't help the emotional impact the music had on me, it's so powerful! My son put his hand on my shoulder and smiled at me as I giggled with my eyes overflowing tears down my cheeks. Music healing my soul. I loved seeing everyone's reactions in the stands to the songs, standing and holding their hands out in praise. I laughed when it felt like Chris called me out personally for being one of the people sitting at a concert and had to join in. I would definitely go again. So happy to be hear my son thank me for taking him and that he had a great time on the way home. Thank you 🙏

    I'm ssoo glad I went to the Chris Tomlin and Cain concert. Both performances were AWESOME! I especially loved Chris Tomlin's songs and how he spoke of the Lord. It was like going to church and worshipping the Lord with him. The whole audience sang Chris' songs with him and he was blown away when we all sang "Happy Birthday"to him, as it was his birthday.

    A moving nigjt

    This concert was fantastic! The group CAIN was so fun and I love their harmonies but Chris Tomlin was the main attraction and he was so genuine, so heartfelt! His songs just brought everybody to worship! It was church at the Moda Center! The sound was not annoyingly loud, it was perfect decibels where we could still hear the crowd singing! Just a magical night!

    Chris Tomlin 5*... Cain... not so much

    Chris Tomlin met and exceeded all expectations. Worth the price of the ticket. The request for sponsoring a child, via Worldvision was heart felt and purposeful. Having Cain open, just didn't work (cringy) for my wife and I. Cain trio were unexpectedly loud and shallow.
