This was a wonderful concert! The Chicago Jazz Orchestra was outstanding, and Michael Feinstein is an absolutely amazing performer of the "great American songbook.". He is graceful and comfortable on stage, he is a master storyteller regarding the composers of the of the music, and he can be extremely funny. His voice is magnificent, from quiet, love songs sung at the piano to show stoppers sung with a powerful voice. His piano skills are also considerable. He had tthe audience in the palm of his hand and you could hear a pin drop while he was performing.
All in all, this was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable concerts I've seen in a long time and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys classic American pop music..
