Located in the heart of Boston’s Theatre District, just steps from the Boston Common, the Charles Playhouse is Boston’s long-time home of Blue Man Group, located at 74 Warrenton Street. The cross streets with Warrenton St are Stuart Street and Charles Street South.

Parking

There are several parking garages and open air parking lots within walking distance of the theatre.
Meter parking is available but limited.

Green Line: Boylston Street Station.
Orange Line: Tufts Medical Center Station.
Red Line: Park Street Station.

Types of Payment Accepted

CASH, AMEX, VISA, MC, Travelers Checks. Personal Checks are acceptable 21 days in advance of the performance. Valid photo I.D. is required.

Will Call

Tickets are available for pick up on the day of the show during regular Box Office hours. The customer must present the credit card used to place the order and a photo I.D.

Accessible Seating

The venue is not accessible however there are productions of Blue Man Group in other cities and touring the country in ADA compliant venues. More information on those productions is available at the Blue Man Group website.

General Rules

Poncho Area: Parts of the show require that customers wear a poncho to protect clothing. Ponchos are provided by the venue.

Strobe lights will be used during the performance.

Blue Man Group Merchandise is available for purchase at the theatre.

There is a cash bar with concessions.

Restrooms are located on the first floor of the theatre.

Gift certificates

Gift certificates are available in increments of $73 and can be redeemed for full view seating, based on availability. Gift certificates can be purchased directly at the Box Office or online. There is a $3.50 service charge per ticket and an additional $3.50 handling fee will be added to each order at the time of processing. Gift certificates are sent First Class Mail to the individual who purchases the Gift Certificate for a chosen recipient. Redemption instructions are included.

Children Rules

Blue Man Group appeals to all ages, but children under five (5) years of age are not permitted. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the theatre.
