Thoroughly enjoyed walking the Trump Doral Blue Monster course. So many changes that it didn't look like the same course as last year. Better than other events we have attended.
We were in Miami by coincidence and had in advance purchased tickets. It was a very good experience. everything worked to our satisfaction and the course and surroundings was really impressing.
I had a great day watching the pros play, and visiting all the venders. I am a wounded vet. and spent most of my time at the tent over looking the first green. Thank you for a great day Jerry Perran
Bought these tickets for the fashion show, they were terrible. The tickets only granted you access to an area outside the event. You couldn't see anything, worse, they didn't even check the tickets. What a waste of money and time. The "fashion" show lasted 20 minutes with the rest of the time filled with an annoying DJ trying to convince the crowd how great we were.
The Doral tournament was great. Decided to go on Friday because it was a little less crowded and we saw every top golfer with an unimpeded view.
It was an outstanding event. Please don't push it and ask me to write a 50 characters review.
A a European golfer who watches PGA events on TV every weekend, I thought I would see it in IRL even if that was not the purpose of my visit to FL? I enjoyed every minute of it.
Another great event at Doral!! The new additions are great & the course is beautiful. Top that with perfect weather & it made for a great Sunday.
There should have been public bleachers at the 18th green rather than just corporate seating. It seems Donald Trump favored his friends who have regular access to courses like Doral and not weekend golfer for whom a trip to Doral is a special experience.
It was extremely horrible I honestly wish I could get my money back. We had to stand in the event and my tickets said row 6 but that obviously did not matter, it was very far away, my tickets were not even checked and then I realized you didn't even have to buy tickets because people were just showing up for free, so I pretty much wasted my money. I think there should have been more information to the show and at least some seats. But I honestly think I would not go to any more events at the Trump International Doral.
Very enjoyable ,the general admission tickets fit us well being Abel to move around the event to each hole . Next year may try multiple days. look foreword to next year.
The event was awesome! It was not crowded and we were able to get a lot of autographs. The players were very relaxed and mingled with the fans.
This is a great event to see the best golfers in the world. Event was different this year and was not ground ticket friendly. Most seats are corporate owned and general public bleachers were hard to find. Asked for help but received very little help. Also I dislike the long walk into the course. Last year we got tickets that included parking and clubhouse but this year I could not see that these were available. Before I buy tickets again I need more information.
Have the chance to see those guys, do what they do whit a golf ball, is a great experience.
I have attended many doral tournaments and have always sat in bleachers at 9 & 18 to watch all the players. Unfortunately there are no longer bleachers for the public at 9 & 18. Thw bleachers are only for sponsers or ticket holders that include sitting in sponsors sections. When you want to eat there are no chairs so you have to eat standing that is very unconfortable. We went Friday and decided to give away the 2 tickets we had for the final day and stay home watching the tounament on TV.
Was not able to enjoy the whole day, due to weather! After spending $40 in ticket, $15 on parking, and $30 on food...being evacuated at 2:00 pm, was not a pleasant day! Like getting a rain check, the tournament people could have easily given the visitors a rain check for the next day! I'm pretty sure the VIPs got something! Unfortunately I cannot afford a $397 ticket.
Smoking on grandstands should be prohibited!!! Food was expensive and bad. Public transportation well organized.
All the extras were in place. Quality grounds. Nicely laid out. Lots of things to do.
We had a wonderful day. Sat our chairs at the 8th green and wathched all the players play through. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The officials walking with the players appeared to be more cognizant of where they stood at the green and not blocking the gallery's view. The same could not be said for the press who traveled with Tiger Woods and didn't care who's view they obstructed. We loved seeing kids having a great day.
