CHVRCHES formed in Glasgow, Scotland in late 2011, releasing their debut single "The Mother We Share" a year later to critical fanfare. In early 2013 they made their EP debut with the Recovery EP, supporting the release with a number of high-profile appearances including SXSW, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and a stint as an opening act on Depeche Mode's Delta Machine Tour. Their full-length debut The Bones of What You Believe continued this success, cracking the Top 10 in the UK and landing at No. 12 on the Billboard 200.
