Great concert from start to end. High energy & loads of fun !!
We got to see a fantastic band from back in the day play. They were fast, furious and fun. You are missing out if you never have seen the Buzzcocks live!
Unlike the time I saw them in 1979 at the same venue, I was not able to jump on stage and steal drumsticks, this was still a memorable show. Great venue.
Amazing, very high energy, played all their stuff.
As a longtime fan and having seen them multiple times, I was disappointed in the length of the show. 1 hour, then an encore of another 12-15 minutes (4 songs).
I have been waiting 35 years to see this band. The Buzzcocks were worth the wait. I loved their energy and mixed crowd, parents bringing their children who are now their biggest fans. Young folks recognize the brilliance of this original punk band. The music was still edgy with an angry bite to it, but the performance was exuding sheer joy. They were having so much fun and it was totally infectious. Musically they were brilliant, tight, punchy, great sound. It like being back in 80s but with a better sound system. I was bouncing with the songs for the next two days - a harmony in my head :>) I so hope to catch them again sometime. One of the very best live performances I've ever seen.
40 years on and Buzzcocks still deliver the goods; I'll certainly see them next time around. The sound was another story however - whoever was running the board was not up to the job.
If you Closed your eyes you would think you went back in time to 1978 and you were at some small club listening to this fresh band called Buzzcocks. They were just as good on Friday June 19,2015 as they were over 30 years ago. Albeit, Pete Shelly not looking like the pale punk of the 70's, still attacked the guitar and mic with a ferver. They played everything I wanted to hear and some songs I've never heard , but all in all, no surprises and just what I expected from one of the great Punk/Post punk bands.
great show.buzzcocks played all the classic tunes. stony pony was great staff helpful and friendly.
Still rock, did new material and most of old favorites
