That was the best concert of all time, and the lineup is going to be difficult to top if not impossible.
The sound on the instruments for Warren and Chris was too loud and them screaming made it hard to hear the words to their songs for it to be enjoyable.
Ridiculous to get to my rather expensive reserved paid parking spot due to traffic being blocked off in All DIRECTIONS, which could have been advised in any of the early emails sent out by the Ohio State Stadium or Ticketmaster as to which streets were closed and where you can enter to get to the street for your parking lot or garage. Concrete stadiums are just not the place for great sound of a concert, performers were excellent and did not disappoint but the sound doesn't carry well into the corridors while waiting in a too long of a line for any concessions or merchandise that was only on one end of stadium. Bench seats with no back and not having a designated amount of space for your seat is rather difficult when everyone else is already in your row and no one wants to move. Also, with the pricing of food and drink the stadium should have at least been able to keep up with maintenance of keeping the restrooms cleaned and stocked with proper supplies of toilet paper, soap and paper towels. I am a huge fan of the performers that were there but will NEVER attend anything at the Ohio State Stadium again for the lack of services that were provided for being such a highly rated college and football stadium.
Best by far. Only complaint was the floor seating.. wish there was more room...were packed in like sardines not enough room to dance and all! Love me some George Strait always! Wish hed come back to BUFFALO NY.
Best concert ever. The preformers, sound and stage was excellent. But just like last year the concession stands were extremely under staffed and slow. At one point they even ran out of ice.
It was AWESOME - loved it!! Food and drinks were Outrageous and not a fan of using debit cards and or credit cards to pay for it!!!
The performances were great! Even on the C deck we could hear well and they had large screens to be able to see better. I will say the bleacher seating was pretty cramped, we had aisle seats and barely had room to sit and that was being very tight up against the person next to you. Parking however was horrendous! We followed the electronic sign recommendations saying to take a specific route to the stadium. Then sat for 40 min trying to go the half mile on the exit ramp. We paid $50 for pass parking and the sign in the exit ramp said to turn right for pass parking, left for public parking. Finally get to the end of the exit ramp and police had the right turn blocked and was pushing everyone left for no apparent reason. Thankfully 2 blocks another cop let us do a U-turn to go back the other direction and get to our pre-purchased parking area. They seemed very unprepared for the amount of traffic for this event.
Parking was a nightmare. Venue clean, vendors fast and friendly. Bleacher type seats are awful. We were in section 26AA. If each person weighs 120# it would be wonderful. However...it wasn't. Many people overflowed into 2 or 3 seats.
We went last year and this year. It's one of my favorite shows, and little weekend getaway, can't wait to see who is headlining next year. Chris Stapletons voice is amazing
This was my first time at Buckeye Country Superfest, and I'm hooked! I loved everything about this concert experience! From the pre-concert Friday night at the Newport, to the free tailgate Saturday across from the stadium, to the actual concert event Saturday! The concert Saturday was over six hours of fantastic entertainment! I got every penny's worth! Can't wait for next year!
A really great concert event. Very well run. Chris Stapleton and George Strait were phenomenal. I had quite a climb to my seats but totally worth it. Loved it!
Stapleton and Strait were absolutely awesome. This year the crowds weren't as bad as last year, and we could get closer parking, which I don't understand. Last year both were horrid. It's still not a great system by any means, but somehow there seemed to be less people, even if they're claiming there were more.
The George Strait/ Chris Stapleton concert was an amazing show. All the artists were great. The pre-tailgate outside the stadium was awesome. Great full day of country music!!! Highly recommend!
The musicians were great but the stadium itself sucks
George Strait, Chris , and LBT WHERE AMAZING. It was the best concert I have ever been to. But George is my favorite country artist. I wanna go again.
It was an awesome show finished off by George Strait playing for two hours.
I enjoyed the show, but I was too long and too hot. The BLEACHERS are uncomfortable for a long day worth of sitting in the sun. The venue ran out of ice which may have helped keep people cooler. I was not drinking so that was not an issue.
Great line up. Great sound. You cant beat George Strait
Music was outstanding. Staff did an excellent job keeping order. Overall excellent experience.👍🏻
Our tickets were sold as an amazing deal. We get there and we have the 1st row befire you get to the floor. Our seats are right beside the staircase so if we wanted to see who was performing we had to stand. It was a constant stream of people running up and down the steps all night. Ticket should've said partially obstructed view. The actual seating was those hard aluminum benches and man were the uncomfortable! Overall not worth what we paid. I love George Strait and so glad i got to see him but i will never go back to Ohio stadium for any event
