BRITNEY SPEARS IN CONCERT:
Critics have hailed global superstar and multi-platinum artist Britney Spears' spectacular Las Vegas residency show Piece of Me at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood as one of the best productions to hit the strip in years. Britney's skills are on full display as she and a crew of fierce backup dancers strut their stuff amid some of the most dazzling sets in Sin City. Voted “Best Show” and “Best Bachelorette Party” in the 2015 Best of Las Vegas poll, the show features the biggest dance hits and emotional ballads from Spears’ fireworks-filled career and has all the costume changes you’d expect from one of the country’s premier pop divas. From opening number “Work B*tch” and mid-set favorites like “…Baby One More Time” to epic closer “Till the World Ends”, Spears and Piece of Me deliver a nonstop party train of iconic pop jams, too-hot-to-handle fashions, and razor-sharp dance moves that leave no doubt that she remains at the top of her game.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, Britney Jean Spears knew she wanted to be an entertainer from an early age. Childhood vocal and dance lessons gave way to Star Search and a brief stint on the ‘90s revival of The Mickey Mouse Club, and in 1997 she was signed to Jive Records after impressing execs with a performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”. Her 1999 debut album …Baby One More Time was an immediate success, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and going on to become the top-selling album of all time by a teenage solo artist. After following up in 2000 with the aptly titled Oops!...I Did It Again – which also peaked at No. 1 – Britney’s blitz continued with a string of successful tours and albums including the self-titled album Britney (2001) and In the Zone (2003), which earned her a Best Dance Recording Grammy for hit single “Toxic.” Britney struggled with personal issues in the mid-‘00s, but by 2008 she was back on top with her sixth album Circus, a worldwide No. 1 that earned her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest female artist to have five albums debut at No. 1. Following 2011’s massively successful Femme Fatale and “Scream & Shout”, her platinum-selling collaboration with will.i.am, the ever-provocative Britney released “Work Bitch” in September 2013 as the lead single from her upcoming album Britney Jean. The album’s release coincided with the kick-off of Piece of Me, her two-year Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Due to the success of the show, Britney announced in late 2015 that she was extending the residency for another two years – welcome news to fans around the world hoping for a chance to experience the excitement of Britney in Sin City.

by ShelliB on 9/9/18Hard Rock Live at The Event Center - HollywoodThe venue set up on the floor seats were such that the stage was too low so when the artist came on stage & every one stood, no one could see the show unless you were taller than the crowd head tops or in front rows. I was unable see any of her performance because i'm short. very frustrating.

She did a great job!!! The dance moves were done with beauty and perfection!!! The entire dance team did the best job ever. I can't wai to see Britney Spears perform again!!!

Her show was as expected and her dancers were amazing. I would highly recommend going to her show for the experience and entertainment value.

She performed like a true pro and interacted with the audience in a great way. I can’t wait for the next Britney concert! The Hard Rock Event Center was pretty good - they didn’t have their screens on for the show.

It was the worst concert I have ever been to. $400 A ticket. Come on Britney !!! At least Pink, Justin and every other artist actually sing some of their own music. Can not believe your die hard fans accept this. At least you live up to the lip synching

The crowd loved her and she showed her love with a dedicated performance. The venue was very nice. I would definitely recommend her concert to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable time. She laced new classics in a web of hits, leaving the audience wanting more, actually everyone was yelling “Gimme More.” She definitely left a piece of herself with her fans after that phenomenal performance! ❤️

The level of production was at the same level as when she performed the show in Vegas and Britney herself gave an amazing performance. Would recommend for everyone

As soon as we all walked in she wouldn’t even look at us and she was already posing for the picture. Wouldn’t even say hi or even smile for the picture. Everybody was really disappointed and it was nothing like we imagined. Cannot believe I paid so much money for 4 seconds in the room with her. I tried starting a conversation and she didn’t even look at me or responded. Waste of money.
