    Hurry up and wait

by EJ on 5/7/24Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

The show was hilarious but it started so late. I understand postponing the start of the show to allow people to get in but it an hour was extreme.

Our phones locked up were more memorable than the jokes

by Mike on 5/6/24Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

I've been a Bill Burr fan for sometime, and this was the first time seeing him live. Not sure if he's just had too much content over the years or what but I was left disappointed for sure. Yes he had some decent laughs, butwhen the most memorable part of the night was the fact they locked up our phones more than died laughing at his jokes, that's when you know it could've been better.

    Bill Burr Crushed It!

by Adam on 5/6/24Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

I saw Bill Burr at the Hollywood Bowl on May 3rd, 2024, and he was amazing. He was witty, authentic, vulnerable, and really funny. I know one does not often use adjectives like authentic and vulnerable when talking about comedians, but that is exactly how Bill presented himself at the Bowl. He addressed all the most sensitive topics present in the world today (depression, politics on both sides, the Middle East conflict, cancel culture, and the list goes on) in a complex way, but one in which you could understand the subject, and then brought out all sides of the subject and allowed you to look at it in a totally different way, while also laughing about it. A very rare person can do that in front of a crowd of 17,000 plus people. It was way more than just a comedy show; it was almost a history and/or philosophy class that every person listening actually enjoyed. It also got something out of more than just a laugh. To summarize, the show was level above any live movie/TV show that I have seen in a very long time. It's simply awesome and a must-see.

by Jen S. on 5/6/24Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

First time seeing Bill Burr and I’ve been to the Hollywood Bowl many times before this show. He was HILARIOUS!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. I wish we could have been closer, but the supplement screens were great to see everything.

    Brilliant!

by Ed on 5/6/24Hollywood Bowl - Hollywood

Bill is an incredibly talented comedian! He was nothing short of brilliant! He tackled tough social issues thoughtfully and exposed rampant hypocrisy in a rare way that forced the audience to do some self-reflection. It might even lead to positive change. It gave me hope - all while providing a wonderful night of laughter. Thank you Bill!!
