I was so looking forward to this event. I bought front row tickets, which were double the cost (over $100) of sitting just 4 rows behind, but I wanted to be right there to see the action.
The action barely made it to the ring. First off... even though this was advertised as MMA, the first fight (and 2 more after) were grappling only. If it had been advertised as being a grappling event I would not have bought tickets at all.
There was a mix of grappling only fights and MMA fights (with striking). Also, there was not enough fights to fill the evening.
We were told afterwards by a security guard that there had been a few fights that had been scheduled that were cancelled.
Now... If I had been told that there was not a full card of fights (it was all over 2 hours after it started) I might not have bought tickets for this event.
The fights we did see were ok... only one was actually exciting!!! But overall, the night was a big waste of time and money.
If I thought it might happen, I would be asking for my money back, or at least a good portion of it.
Spending over $200 bucks for 2 hours entertainment was in my eyes, not worth it.
