I have not heard a duo piano concert entirely devoted to new works. I was a little apprehensive, but came away feeling enlightened. I found several works that I would like to hear again. My favorite pieces employed not only the percussive abilities of the pianos but also the softer sonorities and lyricism of the instruments. The musicians played very exact and had great ensemble.
