Delightful Guitar Work, Poor Ticketing
by Parityflux on 4/16/19Crowder Hall - University of Arizona - TucsonAs expected De Grassi and York pulled off an enjoyable evening of guitar music. Sometimes together as a duet and sometimes each artist playing on their own. The pieces were varied and the tonal differences between De Grassi's steel string and York's nylon, deepened the experience. The ticketing for the event was poor. We arrived a few minutes prior to the show and other people were in our seats. They had tickets issues for those same seats. We bought ours at Ticketmaster. I am not sure where they bought theirs. It was confusing and uncomfortable for both parties. In a rush, the venue issued substitute tickets to us for one row back. The seats were fine if a little less centered. The experience was not. I'm not sure how this could have happened with Ticketmaster or the Venue.
