The Nutcracker 2023
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary
Wonderful performance in 2023. Best choreography I have seen in many years. Highly recommended for parents to take their children for a great Holiday season experience.

Too long
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary
The story is difficult to tell in ballet form and went on far too long. It was over at the end of the 1st act.

Nice performance
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary
Very good performance, but expensive, I paid $150 for 3 of us. Expensive for a family of three. Art should be accessible and affordable to all Canadians.

Lovely performance
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary
I think it’s very sad to leave us older folks behind with the exclusive use of computers. I had to have help to get the tickets on my phone and forget downloading the program. Even with the help of the usher , it would not work. The ballet itself was lovely.

A timeless classic
Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary
We loved the music and dance- both were so well done! Congrats to the performers! What made our experience less enjoyable was the audience- with many distractions throughout the performance. The ushers should not let the audience members into the auditorium during the middle of a performance, and wait until the appropriate time for audience members to come and go. Using flashlights to find their seats was distracting to the audience nearby. Also there should be reminders at the beginning for cellphones to be shut off or silenced. And parents with small children should be mindful of the people around them, and keep extra noises to a minimum. They should leave the auditorium (at the appropriate time) when necessary. This is basic etiquette which really can make a difference in the overall experience for those around them. Please send this review to the ushers and staff at the auditorium.

Couldn't connect the dream to the story
Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton
Beautiful dance , stages, and costumes. BUT the dream was too bland. The costumes were all the same colour; could not tell that the dream was a dream. And the mice were boring. I have seem this ballet several times and there was never a question that the dream was a dream. There were 13 family with me who had never seen this ballet before, watched on youtube prior to ballet so they had an idea what this story was about, and the majority of them will never go again. AND the lady at the door made my family pay $40 for an 11 month old baby that would be held in his parents arms the whole time. That was shameful !!!

Christmas classic is so many ways
Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton
A great kick off to the holiday season. The physicality of the dancers, Costumes, and music was a festival for the senses. So well done.
