Fights were good. Wish they had a couple of women fighting also. But half way through the camera guy decided not to stay on his perch and stood in front of us. Very upset about it and I paid $75 for a front row seat to be able to see and then missed half the fight because he stood in front of us.
TERRIBLE! I would not recommend anyone going to an event from this organization. Even if the tickets and parking were free, you will still leave feeling like you overpaid. Unorganized, unprepared, unskilled fighters. It literally looked as if maybe 4 of the people involved were actually trained in some manner at all, the rest must have came off the street and would work for food or beer. Literally had two (2) fighters go down and into the fetal position without ever being touched, they literally tripped over there own feet retreating from the initial touching of gloves at the beginning of round one and went into the fetal position. Save your money, goto your local park and watch children fight on the playground, they entertainment level will be 10 times the level of this organization!
i am a huge UFC fan this was my 1st live event. yes, very much on a lower level....but was entertaining. especially enjoyed the headkick knockout in the first 5 seconds into one of the matches!! BUT was disappointed that the fightcard was not as advertised. there was supposed to be another girl fight and a heavyweight Championship fight. neither one of them happened. i know the ads say "card subject to change" BUT there should have been an announcement as to why those 2 fights didn't happen. i did like how quick one fight started after another. overall it was good and i would go again.
Very good event was my second time and I would go again.
Awesome show wonderful time. Only issue was photographers getting in the way.
Being a avid MMA fan and attending many events both nationwide and local I was excited to hear of a local live show at NKU, Attended with a few co workers and was overly impressed with the action inside the cage and with the overall atmosphere of the event, By far the best local MMA show I've personally been too over the years, I am glad we went and checked it out as i can speak for my coworkers and say we will buy front row seats to every Absolute Action MMA show they have in the future. If you enjoy MMA dont miss the shows this company produces.
From beginners to veterans. 4 hours of Absolute Action! Don't let some blood flying stop you from a great night of fighting, MMA style.. No long delays between matches. Get to know some fighters from their beginning. Not a bad seat in the house at Kentucky Bank Center. I will watch for more events there!!! PAPAW JOE, Cincy,Ohio
It was not as exciting as I expected some good fights some bad but too many intermissions the breaks were so drawn out and way too long. It did not start on time. It did not seem to be well organized. Especially for the price of the tickets
Great night of fights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I brought my 14 year old cousin and he even had a blast. I cant wait to come back.
