by R-squared on 12/24/23Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterEight track played a connoisseur’s collection of covers on Thursday night at Garcia’s. Lead singer, Jonathan Ellner, was in fine voice, and also played some screaming lead guitar. The new drummer appeared to be a veteran, and the substitute saxophone player was spectacular. The venue was close to capacity, but there remained a small space in front for dancing. And since everyone knew the tunes, there was a lot of singing, especially on 3 or 4 Christmas tunes, and the Stones’ “Meet you”. Highly recommended for fans of 70s rock ‘n’ roll.
