Play was interesting. Theater seats awful. Too small and close together. Too many steps. Don't like the feeling of being in a pit. Seat back in front of me broken and patron kept rocking it back to I braced my knee on it and she couldn't.
This was a well thought out story line with exceptional acting đ by all performers. Overall excellent play.
Not only was this show well performed, but it went through every human emotion. The lead actress and her âsisterâ were able to cryâŚ.really tear upâŚ.as if they were living these roles in reality. The storyline was great, perfect for any time period from the 70s - now. This show was so entertaining and kept my husband and me talking about it for days.
I love plays like this. Stories about real people in real life situations. It reminded me a little of Marty. Definitely worth seeing.

The actors were all very good. The story was depressing.
It was an engaging performance, with excellent acting. It starts slowly, but grows into something quite different. The last 20 minutes race by. So privileged to see a play by this amazing playwright here in Skokie just after it opened in NY.
Brooklyn laundry was a mesmerizing piece of art. The actors were outstanding and I was totally immersed in the theater experience. It was beautifully choreographed, the set was amazingly interesting and the story was very believable. Go see it, you will not regret it.
Beautifullly written, staged and acted, directed by BJ Jones: a truly outstanding performance! We just loved this play! I'm telling everyone about it--a "must see"performance not to be missed!
