This show was so good. Boys from the county hell started off the night with a great performance. Ricky Warwick played second and was also great. He did a meet and greet and was such a cool guy! Stiff little fingers ended the night with a great show playing songs like My dark places and gotta get away, coming out and sending the crowd home happy with a 2 song encode.
Forever grateful that my sonās first ever gig was Stiff Little Fingers. They did not disappoint. Hanx š
As I had never seen The Avengers or Stiff Little Fingers I knew it was a once in a lifetime show. We aren't getting any younger here! The Avengers sounded amazing. I was time traveled back to my punk days of the 80's and I was thrilled.I actually enjoyed them more than SLF! Always enjoy going to shows where its all the old punkers, still jamming out and enjoying life. It was kinda warm in the Orpheum which was unusual as I have been to shows there before. But all in all, a great gig.
SLF put on an amazing show. Playing with a ton of energy they were tight. Playing every great song they had. Also their opening act The Avengers were really great and sounded as strong as they did back in the day. Highly recommend!
I first heard SLF while living in Germany in 1978 when I was 11. How incredible to see them at age 52. Their intensity and social concern is one reason punk will never die. Thanks for a great show.
Being asked for ID and going through the metal detector to get into the venue caught us off guard. But once in there, we loved it. The venue was small but well equipped with several bars. A great atmosphere. Jake was awesome as ever and his message to men to talk and to look after their mental health was inspirational. We lost our son to suicide and admire Jake's honesty and humility when talking about mental health.
The Depot really engineered the sound incredibly this night. The Avengers have not missed a beat. The Stiff Little Fingers were AWESOME - Good vibe and energy from the veterans. One of those nights you wish all shows could be like.
Avengers and Stiff Little Fingers complimented each other well.SLF played for nearly 2 hours and killed it.Hope they make it thru again. Penelope Houston of the Avengers voice is like a fine wine, is only gotten better. They were tight and also killed it. The Depot is a good venue overall except beer is overpriced as usual .The bathrooms are clean which is a plus
Fantastic show, really great to see them again. They sounded just as good as they used to.
