Pat Benatar’s staggering vocals and take-no-prisoners attitude, along with Neil Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as a guitarist, producer and songwriter forged the undeniable chemistry and unique sound that created some of rocks most memorable hits including We Belong, Invincible, Love Is A Battlefield, Promises In The Dark, We Live For Love, Heartbreaker and Hell Is For Children. Together they have created two multi-platinum, five platinum and three gold albums, as well as nineteen Top 40 hits. They have sold over thirty million records worldwide and have won an unprecedented four consecutive GRAMMY® awards. Their rock and roll love affair has endured for more than three and a half decades. Pat and Neil continue to tour, selling out concerts everywhere. Their chemistry will undoubtedly be thrilling music fans forever.
Great performance full of energy. Play some 80 songs with a twist made them a different level. Awesome
Neil put on a great guitar clinic! Simply, fabulous playing ability. I’ve liked Pat Benatars vocals since the 80’s. However, the sound engineer had her mic too high during her performance. When she belted out during songs the speakers boomed too loudly. It was irritating, and I enjoy my rock music loud. Also, much of the time, when the musicians would perform without her singing, she would walk over and stand in front of the drummer with her back towards the audience. She needs to engage the audience better, walk along the edge of the stage and acknowledge her fans. She could go out and walk among the audience like Terri Nunn of Berlin did earlier that evening.
Berlin opened for Pat Benetar, and they were just as good as when they first came out. Pat Benatar's voice was stellar, and Neil Girado was awesome. Marked one off our bucket list!! Would totally recommend this concert!
Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo still have it! Wonderful concert full of energy and great music. Thank you for singing All Fired Up (one of my all time favorites)! Berlin - another fabulous performance - I loved it when Terri Nunn came into the audience - it felt personal.
Berlin brought energy and engaged the crowd, literally - Terri Nunn went into the crowd between sections 101 and 102 almost all the way to section 2 and sung part of a song, high-fived fans and talked a bit, the crowd was into it. The only disappointment was that they could have played 3 or so more songs. Benatar - long pause after Berlin, with no notice they just start - though no one who may have been out of the their seats missed much as 3 of the first 4 songs were duds. The crowd was flat, disinterested. Finally, after about 25-30 minutes they started playing hits and the crowd woke up. The encore was the weirdest, they come out and play Helter Skelter - not their song - and finish with Heartbreaker, albeit altered with some of Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire in the middle, then finished Heartbreaker. Never played their best hit Hit Me With Your Best Shot. I left less of a fan of Benatar. My wife wanted to leave early as she was bored. To be fair, she said that this was a warm-up for their tour which will start in July (this concert that I'm reviewing was in early May). Berlin was great so it was worth the time, 4.5-5 Stars for Berlin, 3, maybe 3.5 for Benatar.
Pat and Neil were amazing! So glad we got to see this show!
Benatar & Giraldo were absolutely amazing, Pat Benatar’s vocals were outstanding, accompanied by Giraldo’s master guitar skills and the original drummer, I am still on cloud nine. Hit after hit, true Rockstars ⭐️.
Saw them at the LA County Fair - Berlin opened for them and Berlin was fantastic! Terri Nunn’s voice is amazing! They rocked it! However, we thought Pat Benatar/NG was just okay. She wasn’t very interactive with the crowd and seemed to be just going through the motions - a bit robotic. Definitely enjoyed Berlin more.
Always been a fan of Patricia (Neil’s wife’s name) so I was beyond excited to finally see her live. But, the kicker was Berlin and Pat together!! So Good! Both ladies were amazing and the bands were incredible!! Such a great show!!
Finally able to see Pat Benatar and BERLIN (the group) recalling those songs from my youth and movies (see Top Gun 1986). Both female stars still have the stuff, strutting around with powerful vocals. Glad I got to see them both - only downside was no Hit Me With Your Best Shot! Thunder Valley is a good venue as well - except like most places if you have a lot of row mates (up & down/ in & out)....
