Country bass crooner Josh Turner has one of the most recognizable – and deepest – voices in country music. With his fifth album, 2012’s Punching Bag, Turner added yet another entry to a string of chart-topping albums, achieving one of his biggest hits to date with single “Time Is Love.” As a child, Turner honed his unique voice singing bass in church choir quartets before heading to Nashville to pursue his passion – country music. His platinum-certified 2003 debut Long Black Train was an instant hit, rising to No. 3 on the country charts on the strength of its title track and lead single. Sophomore album Your Man would peak at No. 1 on the Country Albums chart, followed by 2007’s Everything is Fine and 2010’s Haywire, the latter featuring No. 1 hits “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “All Over Me.” Turner is known for putting on one of the most entertaining live concerts in country music, building anticipation among ticket buyers for his upcoming 2014 tour.
This was our 2nd time to see JT. It was an excellent show and will definitely see him again when he is close.
Great music great Voice great energy had a good time, but for greatest hits tour and only lasting for one hour and 15 minutes total seemed lacking. Josh, being in the business as long he has been and only being on stage for a short amount of time seemed really short I expected at least an hour and a half two hours. He has some great. Maybe he’s not capable of being on stage longer I don’t know but hopefully he can for others concerts
I saw Josh Turner about 20 years ago and had my picture made with him. I admire his talent, faith, and values. This was a great performance! Will definitely see him again. Hopefully not waiting 20 years. Keep doing what you do best Josh Turner! Love the remake of his video Your Man.
He was the best Great Funtime with friend Josh Turner and his band
He really put on a good concert, great voice! Getting help to find our seats was very helpful. The product on sale was not bad price. Lights, sound was good.
Josh Turner put on a great show BUT the venue sucked...... from the dining options to the seating in the event center. We purchased what we thought were 2nd row aisle seats next to the center section. NOT SO MUCH. We did have front row seats but they were the last two seats toward the back of the stage and the stage is so high that you couldn't see the stage from these seats PLUS there was an instrument holder for the musician sitting right in front of us so we couldn't see anything. I paid the extra money for close seats for a reason. We ended up asking to switch seats so we could at least see the show. We ended up about 10 rows back on the left side in the middle of the row. At least we could see......kind of......when you are not a very tall person, seats really matter. I would recommend Josh Turner any time.....I will NEVER return to this venue again.
I’ve always liked Josh Turner but never saw him in concert. He was awesome - great songs, great voice and great entertainer! Also Charles Town Casino is a great small venue.
Josh was amazing! He always puts on a great show! The venue was nice and the ticket price was good. Definitely a worthwhile show.
Josh Turner was great and he's so personable and engaging. This is the third of his concerts that I've attended and I enjoyed each one. The only problem I had was with the chairs -- the seats were quite narrow and the rows didn't allow sufficient room for late arrivals to get to their seats. Each time a latecomer arrived, the rest of us would have to stand up and move out so they could get to their seats. Chairs notwithstanding, I had good time and was not disappointed.
Josh Turner was more then I expected. He was always interacting with the audience. His music was tremendous.
