Red Hot Chilli Peppers on Tour
To many, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are more than just a Los Angeles rock band from the '80s -- they're musical pioneers who took the world by storm with their eclectic blend of funky, alternative punk rock laced with hip-hop that sounded unlike anything anyone had heard before. The band first formed in Los Angeles in 1983 and quickly gained a following large enough to sell 300,000 copies of their debut self-titled album. Over the next few years, the band experimented with different musical genres and went through lineup changes, proving themselves to be one of the most innovative and resilient rock groups in recent history. In 2022, the Grammy-winning band released Unlimited Love -- their 12th studio album and first one with original guitarist John Frusciante since 2006's Stadium Arcadium. Celebrating the release of the new album, the band hit the road for a global tour featuring all four original members -- vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and Frusciante. Be sure to see this legendary ensemble back in action performing classic hits and new songs by grabbing tickets to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in a city near you today.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers Live in Concert
In 1987, Red Hot Chili Peppers were named Band of the Year by LA Weekly, but the band really hit their stride with their fourth album, 1989's Mother's Milk, which cracked the Billboard 200 and went gold a year later. The RHCP had earned worldwide recognition by the time they dropped Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991). The album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and the album's first single, "Give It Away," took off like wildfire, soaring to the top of the charts and eventually winning the band a Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal in 1993. The album also featured the single "Under the Bridge," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 -- their highest-charting single to date. To promote what some might call the Red Hot Chili Peppers' magnum opus, 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik, three of the era's biggest bands -- Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam -- joined the Blood Sugar Sex Magik tour as opening acts. Whenever it was time for the headlining set to come on, seeing the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in concert would always feel like an invigorating burst of energy for all the people packed into sold-out stadiums. Their funk-rap breakdowns, animated stage presence, and minimal clothing attire offered relief from the brooding grunge of the punk-metal status quo. All in all, Blood Sugar Sex Magik was a tremendous commercial success, selling 12 million copies to date, cinching the #186 position on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 500 Albums of All Time, and winning three out of the seven MTV Music Award nominations it received.
The band made the Rolling Stone Top 500 list a second time with Californication (1999), their seventh studio album and most successful yet with 16 million copies sold. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers supported the album on tour for two consecutive years at sold-out venues across the world. The album lit a californi-craze for the RHCP that has burned steady since. The first live album, recorded during a 2004 Red Hot Chilli Pepper concert in Hyde Park, was the No. 1 event of the year on Billboard's Top Concert Boxscores with a record-breaking number of 258,000 fans and a total of over $17 million in tickets sold in the span of three nights.
Since then, they've been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2012), released a handful of more albums: 2006's Stadium Arcadium, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200; 2011's I'm With You, which hit No. 2; and 2016's The Getaway, which also peaked at No. 2.

Red Hot Chili Peppers delivered an electrifying performance that left the audience on fire! ★★★★★"
The Vegas show was my first RHCP concert. I took 2 of my kids because I raised them on The Chili Peppers. What an experience! The memory lane we took as a family was incredible. Each album was explored. Each song has a memory. The new songs made memories. We jammed so hard, I got whiplash. I just purchased tickets for the West Palm Beach show for us. We are just as excited
Saw them live in Chicago w/ my awesome brothers in 2023! By far one of the best events I’ve ever been to in my life! Being born in ‘91, I grew up listening to the RHCP along w/ other artists. They have such a unique sound, appeal & overall positive energy! Such talent in the artist as a group and individually. It helped that I was absolutely DBZ hype & synced w/ the energy of my brothers & the RHCP to make for spiritual electricity in the arena! Such a highlight in my life! Will forever remember! (The stars aligned in a miraculous way. They co headlined w/ one of my brothers fav groups: The Strokes. The Opening was a newer artist I learned about: Thundercat. Just in time for me taking a rare vacay back home to IL!)
This add on show was a great surprise! But it seemed much for them. They seemed lower energy than most times I've seen them. The song selection was mostly newer songs and the concert seemed a little short. Still enjoyed myself because I love the band but they were showing their age or tiredness from endless touring.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers always have an always will deliver an exceptional live performance. Their on stage presence and energy is matched only by their extensive catalog of hits and live jams. Any time they're in my city, I'll be there!
I read on Google a day or two after the show that Anthony’s vocals were off in the beginning of the show and got better later. Having been there from the beginning, I can say that I did not notice anything “off”. It all sounded great to me and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire set! Took my 9 year old and now RHCP have another fan!
The RHCP gave an awesome performance at their March Two Redo Concert. I’ve never heard them sing “Under the Bridge” or “ Give it Away” live so that was a phenomenal encore! Every show leaves me loving them more. This one was no different. 🫶🏽🤘🏽
The Red Hot Chili Peppers March 2 Re-Do was fantastic. So great of the band to make it up to the fans. Got a bit nerve-wracking waiting for details on the new show but once info started coming out the process was easy. Tickets were delivered as promised. Everything very easy. Thank you!
Venue was great, your fan support tech that was helping me was, unfortunately, not very helpful.
