Yo Kinky Tickets

Yo Kinky is Laura Wight and Tom Unish of Queens, New York. The post-pop duo creates music that layer seductive patter lyrics over shimmering angular guitars and drum machines. The two met at the start of 2020, bonding over shared musical interests, and immediately started working on songs together.Their self-titled debut EP that they self-recorded and produced during the pandemic was met with acclaim from such critics as Sound Opinions, various college radio stations across the U.S. and Canada, especially their local WFMU, and Under The Radar Mag, which praised their style of “hypnotic indie rock”. Currently, Wight and Unish are working on their follow up to be released in 2022.
