Awesome show, headbanging madness!!
by ReturningRaver on 1/28/24Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San FranciscoI love the Bill Graham in SF, they never disappoint especially with EDM shows. I'm an "older raver"as the kids say 🤣 and just recently got into heavier bass and dubstep, this was my first rave in over 10 years and it was badass to say the least. I went with my boyfriend, we stayed at the motel 6 not far from the venue so we walked there. We arrived around 8pm and since the event started at 5:30 there were no lines which was awesome, getting inside was a breeze, shout out to the staff they're awesome ! And we got inside just in time for some of my favorite DJs (Crankdat b2b Kompany!! Kai Wachi and then BTSM!! ) We made our way up to the balcony area where they have seats, the place was packed!! But not overcrowded, we were able to move around the crowds of people pretty easily and the balcony has the best view imo. The lights and visuals were SO SICK, freakin' LAZER BEAMS that's all I gotta say lol. And the sound quality was 🤌🏻 beautiful. It was LOUD and you could literally FEEL THE BASS all the way up in the balcony, but we wore earplugs and it was perfect. We were headbanging in our seats for all of Crankdat and Kai Wachi 's set, went down to the floor for some of BTSM 's set and decided to call it an early night and leave around 11 before the show ended to beat the crowds of people all leaving at once lol. Overall it was a great show and the vibes were hella chill, very Bay Area 😎 everyone was in the moment, headbanging all in unison 🤘🏻 love the rave community 🫶🏻 Everything about the show was awesome, staff was great, the venue is amazing, people were chill af. Unfortunately, San Francisco is not how it used to be... I grew up in the Bay Area, just outside of Oakland and SF and I used to come to the city all the time, and it's just so sad to see the city in the shape it's in currently. Me & my boyfriend live in Sonoma County now and we don't have a car so we decided to stay in the city for the event since it was 2 days, the venue was only a few city blocks away from our hotel (we had to choose motel 6 because we have a dog), so we walked to the venue and back. It was not a far walk, but for the average person who doesn't come to SF very often, if you're going to an event at the Bill Graham and getting a hotel room I highly recommend staying at one of the hotels that's like, right across the street. They're a little more expensive, but walking through SF at night especially around the Tenderloin is definitely not for the faint hearted. While it didn't bother me & my boyfriend that much (we just recently got out of homelessness ourselves, we were living in a tent in 2022 in Sonoma County) for others who don't come to the city very often it would be terrifying lol. Anyways, I digress... Overall, WOBBLELAND was badass and if they're doing it again next year then I'll be buying those tickets as soon as they're on sale!! And I'm going to Breakaway in October, see you all then!! ✌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻🤝🏻 PLUR for life
