There is nothing like the lovefest that happens when Wendy performs in her hometown. The Overton Park Shell was the perfect outdoor venue for this spring performance.

by Earle on 5/16/23The Overton Park Shell - MemphisThis was a magical evening. Wendy was in great voice. It was clear that she loves to play to a home town crowd. The band, featuring Gary Goin was tight. The guest artists were terrific. And the food trucks were in fine form.

The Halloran Centre was the PERFECT venue for this type of event. A powerhouse singer with great stage presence and wonderful voice. Definitely worth it.

Wendy interacts in a welcoming manner between songs with her audience. She has honed her craft over decades, moving seamlessly between musical genres and drawing in the listener with impeccable phrasing and dynamics, energy and emotion. She deserves bigger venues as a headliner. Can't wait for her to return to Memphis and open for Vince Gill at the Orpheum!

Wendy was hilarious during her audience banter and absolutely mesmerizing when she sang. Five stars only because I’m unable to give ten. All I can say is I’m glad I got my tickets back in October 2021 so I could be in the second row!
