At Least I Got to be There

by Az on 4/9/24Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

I was sent back to my car for a chain on my pants when I saw several others in the venue with them. I had multiple pronoun pins on my jacket and was STILL misgendered. I had the worst time finding my seat (close to the front right floor, right behind the back pitt row) and was just pointed in that direction. I gave up and decided to sit in the back right in an unoccupied seat. No one said anything and at least I got to be there for the show. On top of it all, the staff decided to yell at me and another person for taking photos, when the person who introduced the podcast SAID IT WAS OK! just no video! Hopefully there is another venue for next year. If not, I'm not going to be wasting my money for a front row seat to see anything next time. The only reason there is a 3 star here is because this is my favorite podcast, and hey, I was at least happy to be there with ALL the hiccups.

    Awesome production!

by Lola on 4/9/24Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

Attended with Grand daughter who turned me on to the book and the Podcast. The production was entertaining and drew me in like the book! Good to meet Cecil and Jeffrey Cranor. Erin McKeowen was fantastic! Loved her voice and her messages!

I had such an amazing time at my first Welcome to Nightvale live show experience! It was everything I ever wanted and more! Everything moved swiftly to get us into the show and the show itself was spectacular!

Literally the best show I’ve ever been to

    by 🌧️ on 1/28/24

What it says on the tin. This was an amazing performance, the entire cast— GOD the CAST <333 — was hilarious, the music was amazing, the story was stellar (Stream Danny Schmitts music on Spotify). I go into most shows expecting to break my wallet for a single shirt but their merchandise was surprisingly affordable AND high quality (and the line moved quickly) - All in all, the best show ever 💜 (PS stan Kevin☀️🌵)

    Perfect for nightvale fans!

by Vi on 1/27/24Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Our night was so much fun! I was worried as it was the second show of the night that the talent would be exhausted but they just GLOWED! they did so amazing, it was so fun and clever. The nightvale team is made of amazing actors and incredible writers that just made it all come together. I will say I felt all kinds of special sitting front row that night just made the magic even better. Especially as this was ten years of live nightvale done in the same theater as there first show! This team of talent knows what they're doing and as long as you like nightvale humor you will adore these shows. 10 outta 10!!!

    Amazing show: Tricky venue/ parking

by Erika on 1/22/24Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Had an absolutely phenomenal time at the event itself, 10/10. Finding parking for the Neptune was a nightmare. My friends and I drove around for half an hour. All of the parking garages we could find were closed by that point in the evening, and we ended up parking multiple blocks away on a residential street. So stressful and made an evening that we had plenty of time for a rush/ stress thing at first.

    A Must See

by Madelyn Foley on 1/22/24Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I’ve been listening to the Welcome To Night Vale podcast for over 10 years. I’ve seen every live show they’ve put out. This show is easily one of the best; it’s hilarious and insightful and all together a must see show. I brought my sister, who has seen a few live shows and has been listening for about 8 years and she got all the little inside jokes that I did; it was great to share that. I also brought my partner who had never seen a live show and only ever heard bits from the episodes I play. I was worried that he wouldn’t have as good of a time but he walked away so happy and his face hurt from laughing. It’s worth mentioning that our seats were in the front row, I got to wave at Disparition and he shyly waved back. And Cecil Baldwin smiled at me from the stage. It was so cool, I was sorta star struck. WTNV never fails to put on a fantastic show and if you buy a ticket you won’t regret it, I can’t recommend this weird, kinda creepy, hilariously funny show enough to anyone. Go see it!!

    All Hail the Glow Cloud!

by Pixel on 1/22/24Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I really LOVE Night Vale, so I was very thrilled to see them perform a live show. Very entertaining. The Neptune Theater wasn't the best, the seats were too narrow and the balcony was too warm, but it was a pleasant surprise to find out this was the theater where they'd performed their first live show 10 years ago. Loved seeing Cecil, Symphony, Meg, Disparition, Jeffrey and Joseph on stage, they're so expressive and fun. Not as big of a fan of the music guest, but I've never been a fan of the weather segments.
