    Fun for the whole family

by Reza on 1/1/19The Pasadena Civic - Pasadena

I love these types of plays. Brought my daughter last time and this time took my sons. They love the popular music used and the interaction with the audience. The fresh take on a classic play and Kermit was a hit! Highly recommend and panto play!

I PURCHASED THE TICKETS TO THIS EVENT AT MY DAUGHTER'S REQUEST. I WAS NOT QUITE SURE WHAT TO EXPECT. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL, FUNNY, AND FULL OF HEART. I ENJOYED HOW INTERACTIVE THE AUDIENCE BECAME AND ,EVEN, SOME XMAS CAROL'S AT THE END. THE WRITING WAS WITTY AND QUITE GOOD. THE PERFORMANCES WERE TOP-NOTCH AND KERMIT THE FROG AS THE WIZARD WAS SO FUN. THANK YOU FOR A SPECIAL ENHANCEMENT TO OUR HOLIDAY SEASON.

    Great Show for ENTIRE Family!

    by P. C. on 12/25/18The Pasadena Civic - Pasadena

My 14 year old daughter wanted to go because she likes McKenzie. Upon arrival, there were mostly very young children there, so I was worried it was going to be a “kiddy” show. To my surprise the show thoroughly entertained my 14 year old, me and my 75 year old mother!!!!

    Dorothy Murdered This Show

    by R. B. on 12/19/18The Pasadena Civic - Pasadena

I was very excited to see this show, as an avid theatre fan and frequent attender of local shows. I even brought my out of town guests with the hope of impressing them with the excellent local talent. We were majorly disappointed. Dorothy, a Ziegler from the show Dance Moms, was awful. She had no acting talent whatsoever, creating a very flat and dull Dorothy. I was sure they would make up for it by having her dance exquisitely, but she had no impressive dance numbers at all. Her singing was more than below average, making me cringe a few times. I'm not sure why Lythgoe Family felt the need to cast her, her name didn't make up for her bad talent. On the upside, other cast members were GREAT! The Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Wicked Witch were great singers and kept the show lively. Unfortunately, the Tin Man wasn't so great. The kids who were the dancers/munchkins were excellent though, and the dancing was very precise.

    Wonderful and filled with laughter.

by Cloudy on 12/19/18The Pasadena Civic - Pasadena

Wow what a wonderful show! The actors were all seasoned and highly trained. Such wonderful entertainers! The dancers were amazing too. The story was relatable and the jokes were fresh and current! At the end of the show a special needs child jumped on stage and the actors were professional and so respectful...it was wonderful to see the compassion and professionalism displayed by everyone towards a very excited audience member. All talented and amazing entertainers!
