The Damon's are a good time. Wish I could give 4.5

If there was a second show and tickets available, I would have readily bought them and went again. Damon Jr. came on first. Only knowing him from “Let's be Cops” and New Girl, I did not know what to expect. Some of his routine was a little obvious that he was working the crowd. He asked about basketball and if people had a team. He used the interaction to get the audience into his routine. When he gets a little more experience at working the crowd he'll be able to do this better and we will not see it happening. His transfer from the crowd answering him to his routine was not as smooth as Damon Sr. I still honestly laughed during his performance and do not regret going. Damon Jr. gave a good show, but you could tell he was telling jokes and running routines. Of course that was what we were there for. I am not complaining, just reporting. Still well worth the time and the money. I paid $88 for the full show and would give $44 to see just his part again. That sounds a little bad, but I mean it honestly and in full support of Damon Jr.’s ability. Damon Sr. knows how to work the crowd. Within a few minutes of his set I was engaged and about 95 percent was seamless. I had seen a review that the first half of his routine was good and the second half was all about diabetes and was not very good. The person saying this must have diabetes and feel bad about it because Damon Sr. did a good job with it. He related an event in his life that could be tragic and used it to show good humor and a positive perception of life. Finding out that Damon Sr. has a personal thing in his life that can be dangerous and deadly, but that he can still have the ability to see life as good allowed me to feel good about him, almost as if he was more than just a personality. There was only one small part that was not very effective for me. He made a reminiscent bit about when Marlon and he were out hanging with women in their youth. It almost seemed that there was an inside joke going on there between Damon and Marlon, because he really did not need that part of the routine to be funny. It was almost like the bit was intentional for it to get back to Marlon. Well worth the price of the show and I would definitely go again. BTW, this is a review and if you want to hear their jokes, go see the show.
