Love Fran
Michigan Theater - Ann Arbor
Loved seeing Fran! My only complaint is that the lighting wasn’t very good so it was a bit difficult to see her face

visit with Fran Leibowitz
Meyerhoff Symphony Hall - Baltimore
Fran was interesting and entertaining but the evening could have been improved with the following observations. Unfortunately the moderator's time was wasted as I was not interested in hearing his views. `I came to hear the principle speaker so an introduction was all that was necessary. Along that same line of reasoning, she should have been given most of the evening and not an extended Q&A. So much time was lost with constantly repeating during the Q&A that could have been saved with some microphones.

Well Done
Meyerhoff Symphony Hall - Baltimore
Fran acerbic as ever and the show quite entertaining. Is there any way the questioners could be given a mic so the audience and Fran could hear the questions being asked?

Fran was great as usual but the Meyerhoff…
Meyerhoff Symphony Hall - Baltimore
My sister and I had great box seats. The problem was that the lighting on the stage cast a terrible shadow on the interviewer and Fran’s faces. Then, the sound wasn’t clear enough from the microphones to adequately hear every word. It sounded muffled. Other than that, we enjoyed seeing her.

Forever Funny
Meyerhoff Symphony Hall - Baltimore
Fran Lebowitz is a pleasure to spend an evening with - funny as always and one of the most interesting speakers out there. Her wealth of experiences, keen memory and witty insights made for a great night out... and the Meyerhoff is one of our favorite venues.

A disappointing show
Rialto Theatre-Tucson - Tucson
The Rialto is one of the most (if not THE most) uncomfortable venues we've ever been to. The seats are way too small, too close together (I felt like I was in my neighbor's lap), and our knees were bent almost to our chins. Think airline seating at its very worst, and multiply it by 10. So with the discomfort of the seating setting the tone, we were disappointed in the show. Fran Lebowitz is a favorite author and pundit of ours, yet she seemed tired, not on her game, and given to trite responses. Even the interviewer's questions were rather lame. Bottom line - I would rather have been somewhere else.
