PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure on Tour

In the latest live-action adventure spectacle from every kid's favorite cartoon dog squad, Ryder and his crew of ever-resourceful pups must save their bumbling, seafaring friend Cap'n Turbot after he gets lost in a cave — just as Mayor Goodway's Pirate Day festival celebrations are set to begin on Adventure Bay.

En route to the rescue, the team finds a treasure map and sets out to find the booty for Mayor Goodway's event before their dastardly rival Mayor Humdinger (from the nearby town of Foggy Bottom) gets to the goods first. With dog-suited dancing actors bringing the show's beloved canine characters to life before big-screen animated backdrops, The Great Pirate Adventure is an energetic musical revue featuring all the familiar theme music from the show and brand-new songs exclusive to this production. It also features a special appearance from the newest member of the PAW Patrol team, Tracker.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure Background

Marshall! Rubble! Chase! Rocky! Zuma! Skye! Many parents know these names as well as those of their own children. They're the tireless cartoon pooches comprising the PAW Patrol, the all-in-one eco-conscious police/fire/construction/aviation/naval team who, along with their trusted preteen ringleader Ryder, maintain peace and order in the picturesque town of Adventure Bay.

Since debuting on Nickelodeon in 2013, the Canadian CGI series has become a staple of preschoolers' TV diets, while its Daytime Emmy-nominated, pop-punk-inspired theme song has become permanently lodged in the brains of parents around the world. (Not that they mind, since the show instills in their kids positive messages about the values of teamwork, nonviolent conflict resolution, and environmental preservation.)

After spawning a toy store's worth of merchandising lines, PAW Patrol made the leap to the stage in 2017 with the internationally touring production Race to the Rescue. That was followed by the sea-themed sequel, The Great Pirate Adventure, that set sail in 2018.

The Greatest Theatrical Experience of My Life

by Mike B. on 3/20/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I took my granddaughter. The sets, performers, lighting, and music were all excellent. The sound was fine, but could probably be better. My granddaughter loved the show. I’ve seen some wonderful theater in my lifetime. But taking my granddaughter to her first show was the most wonderful, once in a lifetime experience. A great time!! Bravo!!!

Great for small paw patrol fans

by Stacey on 3/20/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My son (3.5 yo) and I went to Paw Patrol Live together and very much enjoyed it. Taking a star off as the dates were poor for Chicago (over st Patty's day weekend) and more importantly, the sound was a little uncalibrated. It was difficult to hear what some of the characters were saying from time to time. Otherwise, it was a great show for young paw patrol fans. My son was engaged the entire time and literally wanted to run up to the stage at the end of the show to say goodbye to the pups. I would take him to another paw patrol live show for sure

    Interactive and fun!

by Jessica G on 3/20/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

My 6yo boy enjoyed the show very much! Just enough souvenir options, we got a shirt in the biggest size, an 8, and bubble wand. The concession stands for food and souvenirs moved very quickly. There was a 15 minute intermission which was nice for bathroom or snacks. This might be our last PP show since my son is aging out but I’m glad we went!

    Speaker system horrible

by Ms. Riley on 3/20/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The show was great however the speaker system was horribly low. We were about 4 rows from the stage and it was extremely hard to hear the performers the first half of the show. After intermission the volume was slightly high but still low. Please adjust the speaker volume.

I took my granddaughter for her birthday and I was so pleasantly surprised. This show was great!! The actors sang and moved around a “dog” effortlessly. I was amused and thoroughly enjoyed the show. My 4 year old granddaughter was in heaven.

    MY SON HAD A BLAST!!

by Ash on 3/19/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

There was sing and dancing. Really entertaining for the kids. There was even a small break so the kids can get up stretch and run around. The souvenirs were great as well. My son loved the bubble wand. They even had drinks for us grown ups. We all had a ball. It definitely was a good turn out.
