NDGT was his usual fascinating self. The show became interactive and went over an hour longer than it should have, and this was even after telling the audience how he wasn't feeling well, which considering he had almost no voice by the end, was definitely the truth.

Incredible experience
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
Sitting on the edge of my seat through a physics/physics history lecture given by Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson has been an incredible experience. I would absolutely love to attend one of his talks again.

Entertaining AND Informative
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
Oh how I wish that science classes that I took in college were as good as this. Mixing humor with in-depth facts and information N deG D pack a semesters worth of teaching into two delightful hours. “Collisions” might be the most intellectually challenging lecture I’ve heard from him. It started with subatomic particles and ended with the cosmos.
He also touched on one of the unspoken problems with the academic science community. This is that those who do the research are often not those who get the recognition . Remember that the next time a Nobel is awarded.

A Artful Journey through Science

Neal DeGrasse Tyson is a fabulous scientist and entertainer. He imparted his knowledge and what others have discovered in a fascinating way, that was easy to understand, humorous and entertaining. I learned quite a bit. The time flew by and was left wanting more.

Amazing!
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
Neil Degrasse Tyson gave two talks in Seattle (different topics), and his second was so facinating and engaging that I wish I had attended both. I have been messaging friends and coworkers since saying they have to get tickets when he next comes to town. This was easily top 10 of my favorite live talks in 30 years of frequently seeing them.

Entertaining and Informative!
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
We saw Dr Tyson on April 16 in Seattle. His talk on Cosmic Collisions was interesting, well paced and appropriate for all ages. He engaged with the audience.
The slides and videos he used were OK, I didn't like the video that had rap music. Not my generation I guess!
The venue was lovely! We had not been there before and had no idea of the number of staircases there would be to get to our seats!

Retired teacher (History)
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
I thought that his presentation: had several outdated images, that it was poorly paced throughout the entire evening,…..it lasted well over 2 1/2 hours, without a break of any kind. He unfortunately made several, bias remarks and was easily off topic. He was obviously disheartened when the audience wasn’t impressed with some of his remarks and PowerPoint . Why he felt the need to take up time telling us about his VERY, “expensive” trip to the Antarctic , I will never know given that he never tied it into any rationale for going there except that it was fun. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed with his overall performance.

An amazing experience
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
Dr. Tyson spoke for three hours to an audience whose ages ranged from 6 years to over 80 years. He made the complicated understandable and the complex easy. What an experience to hear someone speak who knows how to explain astrophysics to an English teacher. So glad I was included in this party.

Literally out of the world experience!
Paramount Theatre - Seattle
Our whole family has always been a big fan of Dr. Tyson's style of presenting the Universe to the commoners in a simple way! But we had always heard him on TV shows or YouTube StarTalk. This was our first experience listening to him Live, and so glad we got the opportunity.
He planned his talk with such an amazing flow that we felt time just flew by and we could have sat for some more. Besides, technical aspect of his talk, he shares valuable anecdotes and importance of being objective, these will stay with young kids for lifetime! My son could tell all the jokes he cracked at the show, especially the Higgs one and party mass.
We can't wait for him to come back to Seattle again for another lively show!
