It was ridiculous, they wanted to sit in one spot no one allowed near third base, and we walked a long way to get to the seat, no skywalk opened they should of used south east entrance where they wanted us to sit, and it would be warmer to get in north side, cold draft air, stupid, we may be back hard to tell
The sports part was amazing. The event itself was ehhhhh. There was only one concession stand open, which made get food/drinks very timely. The facility was very limited. Wish we could have seen more. But understand that it all couldn’t be open for the amount of people that were there. I was going to give it a 2 but bumped it up to a 3 because of the people working were very pleasant.
The baseball in itself was absolutely fantastic. The venue overall was great. The thing that was really lacking was the amount of concessions or the variety of concessions available. Also, there was no event merchandise offered for sale anywhere.
Hi The only frustrating thing was it was not clear that you could only enter the building at one door. A couple of outdoor signs would of been extremely helpful so we didn't have to walk around the entire building. My 11 year old son had a good time. More interactive with the players for autographs for kids would of been nice. My son did shag a couple foul balls. The building is beautiful. We had several great choices for seating. The games were good. Thank you!
Baseball the way it was meant to be. Stolen bases, hit & run, etc…. A great ( and cheap) environment to teach the game of baseball to kids. It was a blast.
I attended the Cambria College baseball classic. The venue was beautiful, but the event appeared to be an afterthought for the facility. Only one door was open for those entering and existing and it was not clearly marked for visitors. Temporary fencing blocked the path from the metro train station to the lone open gate - making it more difficult to determine the correct way to enter the facility. Steps and sidewalks were not plowed and salted before Sunday’s game, creating a hazard for visitors. While that game did not draw a large crowd, those of us who did attend should have had a clear and safe path for entry. On the other hand, staff inside the facility were very kind and helpful. It was impressive to see a football facility converted to baseball and great to see baseball in a temperature controlled environment. I would definitely look forward to attending again.
All staff at US Bank Stadium were above and beyond friendly.
The field was very "make shift"....meaning it looked like it was just thrown together ...like Sandlot on Super Steroids!
