    Not scary…

by rach on 10/31/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

Decor was cool… if you’re looking for a lot of scares or interactions this was not the place… felt like I spent 15 minutes just walking through a maze after waiting 1.5 hrs in line…went somewhere different last year, way better. Idk if they are just short staffed or what but probably won’t be back. For $30 per ticket I expected more.. again, best part was the decor.

    Underwhelming

by Jack G on 10/31/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

“Reserved” a time slot from 8-9 PM but had to wait an hour in line when we got there. There was a line to go through the metal detector, a line to get our picture taken before we even went through the first portion of the haunted house, and a line at the first haunted house. Most of the inside of the first two houses felt barren besides a couple rooms with people dressed up and minimal decorations. The ceiling was also exposed so it made them not nearly as scary. Getting through all three attractions took around 30 minutes, and we were incredibly underwhelmed by the end.

    Don't waste your money

by 80diva30 on 10/31/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

The haunted house should be stated as a maze. The first issue was when reading the website it states to come at your purchased time slot you'll have that hour to complete 3 houses and see vendors. We stood outside in line for an hour to make it in the building to stand in line for another almost 45 mins. I spent almost 2 hours in line to walk though what seemed to be 15 mins of mazes, not a haunted house. A lot of the walk through was empty, so scary people or tricks. For the number people entering the haunted house, we were often in one line. The people in the back did not get the effect of scares. Overall it was a flop, and not worth $30, my family spent $100.00 really to walk around a bunch of plastic streamers and corners. HORRIBLE!!!!

    Long wait for no reward

by Chris on 10/31/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

I wouldn't go again. My ticket allowed entry between 8 and 9 p.m., and I got in line right at eight but did not get in until 9:15 p.m. So, an hour and 15 minutes wait to go through the attraction probably lasts 10 minutes or so and will only scare children.

    Great for kids

by Kiddo Haunted House on 10/31/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

The team was great at reading kids! Our daughter, 7 yo, was a bit afraid, but no on scared her and she had a pretty good time overall! I really appreciated the care taken.

I had a great time at the haunt! I literally came back and volunteered the next night.

Paid the same price for minimal effort

by Disappointed on 10/29/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

Paid the same ticket and $16 parking price as everyone else. Guessing because we went on a Thursday and towards the end of the evening we got the minimalist version. Obvious gaps where monsters should have been, went through the last 2 haunted houses without seeing barely a monster. When we did see someone finally, felt like we were being rushed through. Got 1/2-3/4 of the way through the 3rd attraction without seeing anyone. Wasn't worth the money at all...disappointed because this one was really hyped up. Wished they realized everyone pays the same price so it would be nice to get the same experience.

    Waste of money

by Jessie on 10/29/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

What a disappointment! Hardly any actors and very sparse decoration. Probably the worst haunted house I’ve been to.

    Loved it!

by LexiiRain on 10/26/23Veterans Memorial Coliseum - Portland

I went twice! The first time was on the “Lights Out” night and definitely recommend it!!! I nearly wet myself! The second time was for the kids fest, It was very cute for the little ones to run through the haunted maze and interact with the monsters. It was only 2 out of the 3 haunted houses so that was a bummer the kids still had a good time!
