    What a game!

by Wes on 2/13/24UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

It was my first time seeing a live game. My dad was a softball pitcher in the 80's and he's a big big fan of the game. It so happened that he was in town this weekend and he also got to see a live game for the first time. We all really enjoyed the experience.

Great Experience to End our Disney Trip

by Wrecka on 3/29/23UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

Ended our trip down to Disney with a trip over to UCF to see this game. We don't have much high level softball in Long Island, NY and my ball players wanted to see a major college game live. They had a great experience capped off with seeing the Wichita St team at the gate across from us in the Airport.

What a RIP! UCF Softball fiasco!

by Steverino on 3/7/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

I order tickets for the UCF vs. UF softball game on Feb.27th @ 4:00pm. We get to stadium to see a full house for the final innings of the 1:00pm game that the Gators were playing. We are told we have Genereal Admission tickets (no assigned seats) so go find a seat. Well, there are no seats and the few empties are being help for "Phantom Returnees". A UCF booster standing with us said with the game is over the 1:00pm folks will get up and leave. I asked a Gator fan sitting and said "Are you leaving"...he said "Are you kidding!" I asked if he had 4:00pm tickets and he said No. The game ends and not ONE body gets up to leave. About 25 or more fans that had 4:00pm tickets begin roaming through the stand to again find seats being saved. With no seats about 10 of us happened upon the stairs leading to the Pressbox and sat on the sides of the stairs so a gap was available to get up the stairs. Game starts and some lonely student tells us we have to get off the stairs. We say when the 1:00pm ticket holders leave we will take their seats and keep watching. Well, a couple of others come up to get us to leave when finally the "head jerk" comes up along with a large man who says "You can't sit on the stairs so leave"...oh also a Police Officer was close in tow. We all get up and head to the exits as no seats available. As we passed the gate on the way out, I see Mr. UCF in charge (head Jerk and should have asked his name) and said we bought tickets for the 4:00pm game and there are NO seats. He said it was an 'All Day Ticket' and those that arrived early could sit all day and said that was printed on my ticket. I looked pretty pretty close... and never found it. I said just point me to the refund counter and was informed "We don't give refunds". So again as Mr. Policeman was at his shoulder, we left to watch the game from the outfield through the fence as no need to be arrested because I was close to bowing up. My buddy was tired of standing so I took him to his car and for some reason went back to the game as DID get a seat as a number of folks finally left as the game was running very late. The best part of the story if the Gators pulled off the WIN and the sad Knights went home losers, I hope our Mr. Nasty was upset but probably not even a sports fan. I'm a local from the years FTU began and two daughters and my wife have degrees from UCF but my days of supporting UCF sports are over. Final thought...The jerk told me to sit in the bleachers as they were also general admission and I passed by on the way out and saw bleachers covered with green mold and three steps high...lower than the netting on the fence so you couldn't see the field from that position. Not sure how Ticketmaster is involved with timed tickets but if so ...do a better job telling the paying customer you are buying a non-existing seat...at least at UCF. Bad business for a couple of seniors just wanting to watch some softball. Why sell tickets to a 4:00 pm game knowing the place will be full and no seats available???

    UCF vs UF

by Maranda on 3/3/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

There is not nearly enough seats in this stadium to accommodate all the people attending. The bleachers in the outfield that are used for over flow seating are below the padding on the fence which makes the field impossible to see even from the top row.

    Terrible

by Rosa on 3/2/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

It was my daughters first softball game ever. We arrived early and got to see part of the previous game. When it was time for our game to start, there were no seats available. We even tried to sit on the floor near the handicap seating and we were asked to move and taken to an area in the right field where the seating were benches and The girls could not even reach high enough to see the game. I wish I could have got my money back. We will never go again! They really should work on limiting tickets and having people leave after each game and come back in with a new ticket for the start of the next game.

    Gators vs. Knights

by GatorSoftballFan on 3/2/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

Purchased my 2 tickets online for $30 or so, got to the UCF Softball stadium and walked right in. NO ONE at the gate ask to see my tickets. Even though the tickets had a Section number and seat numbers staff told us we could sit anywhere because the game was sold out. I was thinking what a ripoff as I watched people just walk in without a ticket. And not just students. Not planning on coming to other softball games but if I do I certainly won't buy tickets!

Great game, but not enough seats

by Nicky B on 3/2/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

They oversold the stadium. There were too many tickets purchased, and not enough seats. So we essentially paid for nothing. We had to sit outside on the grass. Next time we will just save the money and tailgate.

A Beautiful Day In The Sun

by Steve on 3/1/22UCF Softball Complex - Orlando

The UCF Softball team played a fantastic game against a completely overmatched JMU squad on a beautiful day in February. D1 Softball is one of the best ways to spend time on this planet.
