This show was so disappointing.
The good: The openers did an awesome job1 GroupTherapy brought the energy and made me want to hear more. When Tobi Lou was performing, it was great!
The bad: Tobi Lou spent 25% of his stage time doing various sales pitches of his other projects: an app, a clothing line, his ego. It was just STRANGE. I am very used to artists saying "Hey guys, have you checked out [insert name of side project]? Thanks for your support, I hope you like it!", and I totally respect the hustle. THIS was NOT that. It was several minute long speeches about how hard he's worked, how many people doubted him, how he's proving them all wrong with this great product, how much he doesn't care about them anyway, repeat the same thing in various other wording several times over, sing 2-3 songs, and move on to another product promotion. We ended up leaving the show after 3 rounds of this. It felt like he was going through some mental health challenges and it was difficult to watch. I hope he can get some help and respect his fan's time who ALREADY spent their time and money to see him perform, not attend a sales pitch.
