About

Temptations Revue ft. Nate Evans on Tour

"My Girl." "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." "I Can't Get Next to You." "Ain't Too Proud to Beg." "Just My Imagination." "The Way You Do the Things You Do." "Treat Her Like a Lady." If you're a fan of classic soul music, you know all of them by heart. They're the hit songs of the Temptations, some of the most beloved ever written, performed by musicians who rose out of Detroit to eventually embody the aesthetic of Motown, both the label and the sound.

Over the course of their 50-plus-year career, the Temptations released four Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and 14 R&B No. 1 singles. Their music has earned three Grammys, including the first for Motown for 1969's "Cloud Nine," and in 2013 they received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The founding members — Otis Williams, Melvin Franklin, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams and David Ruffin — were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. "My Girl," "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)" and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone" are among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. This music is more than timeless. It's at the very foundation of pop.

Today, the Temptations Revue carries on the tradition started almost 60 years ago, performing concerts to sold-out crowds across the United States. The Temptations Revue is led by Nate Evans, the singer who was brought into the group decades ago by its founding members. Evans brings a cast of veteran vocalists to re-create the Temptations' definitive five-part harmonies, and they're accompanied by an eight-piece band that provides proper live musical backing. From the dapper suits to the gentlemanly dance moves to note-perfect renditions of all those songs you know by heart, the Temptations Revue is the full Temptations experience, delivered here and now.

Great music, wonderful songs, professional musicians

by Great evening on 2/14/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Theatre is wonderful, music was great, we enjoyed the evening. Poor communication regarding the tickets which were not sent until a couple of days before the concert, tried to get in touch with the promoters to straighten this out, just got put off.

    Fun

I enjoyed the music, but I was in the nose bleed seats with bad hearing and portions of the concert were lost on me.

    Fantastic

by Dave on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I didn’t know what to expect, but this was a phenomenally professional show. The songs of course are classic, but the harmonies, the showmanship, the choreography, even the costumes were better than anything I had expected. I felt transported back to the days of Motown origins!

    Good show

by Philly on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I enjoyed the 4 tops but I saw the temptations show over the summer so that was a little boring. I really like paramount theatre but a little tight quarters when it comes to the seating. I went out to the lobby and watched the rest of the show on the monitors and chilled on the couch. I could still hear the music but watched the show on the screen. Suggest puttin up monitors on each side of the stage for ppl that can’t see when people stand up

    Temptations awesome/people not so much!

by Alice on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Paramount Theater is awesome, workers so friendly. Temptations were wonderful, Four Tops sang great but talked way too much! What ruined it for us was the policy that allowed picture and video to be taken. We had great seats but all throughout the night what we mainly got to see was the back of people's heads, and the gaps where we could see the stage were blocked by so many cameras held to to video tape the stage. So other than heads what I saw if the concert was the video of the performers on the phones. Probably my last concert.

    Awesome

by Disco Queen on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The Temps and The Four Tops were awesome. Their moves were sharp, they sounded amazing and they gave a great show especially the Temps. Aside from Otis being the only living member, who looks amazing by the way, they were great! I would highly recommend.

    Great show!

by Noel on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

My only negative comment is that the venue, Seattle Paramount, opened the doors too late! They started letting people in at 7:30 for an 8:00 show. Such a small window made it difficult to get drinks before the show started. Also, people showing up to the show more than 20 minutes late should be made to wait so as not to disrupt people in their seats. Very annoying on both fronts.

    Great show!

by KF on 2/13/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Really enjoyed seeing the Temptations. Loved hearing so many of their original hits and a new song they worked on with Stevie Wonder. They are all great performers and it was really cool to hear stories from one of the original members.

by Fedra on 2/7/24L'Auberge Casino Resort - Lake Charles - Lake Charles

The show was amazing from the beginning to the end and they gave a great performance. When I say they sounded so good you best believe it. One good thing is that they started on time and performed till it was over. Great show!!

    Disappointing

by Pattie Kay on 2/6/24L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge

Disappointed in this show after seeing the Spinners in same venue. Temps need sound management as well as show production. I get that Otis is old and needs a sit break. I’m happy for him to sit and sing. Heck we’re all older and get it. But to sit down and TALK for as long as he did was a buzz kill. Then come back, do a couple more songs and end the show? Would not pay to see them again.
