About

The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential and longest-lasting bands to cross over during the ’60s British Invasion. The group stands as one of the best-selling acts of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide, and is responsible for two of the highest-grossing tours of all time within the last two decades. Blending blues and rock, the first main lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts broke out in 1965 with their first chart-topping album Out of Our Heads and back-to-back Hot 100 No. 1 singles “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud.” The group topped the Hot 100 again with 1966’s “Paint It, Black,” 1967’s “Ruby Tuesday” and 1969’s “Honky Tonk Women.” With the addition of guitarist Mick Taylor, The Rolling Stones released their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 1971’s Sticky Fingers, kicking off a streak of eight consecutive chart-topping debuts through 1981’s Tattoo You. Ronnie Wood made his debut as Taylor’s full-time replacement with 1978’s Some Girls, which hosted the group’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Miss You.” The Rolling Stones were the recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. They collected their first of three career Grammy Awards in 1995. The group broke the record for highest-grossing tour in 1990 and reclaimed the top spot in 1995 and 2007, becoming the only band to headline the highest-grossing tour of the decade twice. The No Filter World Tour from 2017 to 2021 closed as the fifth highest-earning tour ever. Most recently, the band released their first album of original material in 18 years, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

    Venue sucks

by Got no satisfaction on 7/16/22Super Stage at Circuit of The Americas - Austin

Don’t go to a concert at Circuit of the Americas if you have lawn seats. The lawn was flat and We couldn’t see the band at all. Only on the big screen. It was awful. Will never go there again!!!!!

The evening was a traffic nightmare...

    by D. on 2/17/22

After 3 hiurs of sitting nearly stalled traffic... we were still about an hour est in traffic. We simply couldnt get there. I think ticketmaster double sold the grass areas. The concert was a total bust!! I wish I could get my money back. I know others that couldnt get there also.

    Outstanding

by Bill from Albuquerque on 1/17/22Allegiant Stadium - Las Vegas

Great classic Rock and Roll. A full 2 hours of great music. Very well performed engaging the audience for the whole show. Professional yet fun. Amazing amount of energy. The venue is great except for the poorly planned, lame exit. No good pickup spots for Ride share. Huge lines. Had to walk to the MGM to get the Monorail.

    Darkness...& Light?

by J. Jack Flash on 1/8/22SoFi Stadium - Inglewood

Jagger & Co. have always had the dark thing down....Paint it Black, Sympathy, Sway etc. But I actually experienced a new sensation at this show when they did YCAGWYW that I've never felt at one of their shows in the 10x i've been lucky enough to see them live. On this nite, "You Can't Always Get" was nothing short of thrilling! I've never been to a tent revival, but this rendition was like a quasi-spiritual experience...think James Brown in the original Blues Bros film...it was that electric. The guy i talked to on the plane thinks this tours version was masterminded by Chuck Level...but i also recall a 2018 documentary on Aretha Franklin that shows her gospel singing at a Los Angeles church in the early 70's ( & the footage shows Mick even stopping by that nite wearing a white suit...possibly while mixing Exile at Sunset Sound?) But whatever the reason, the muse flew into the stadium on this beautiful night...& somewhere James Brown, Aretha & Charlie are smiling.

The best of the best to see The Rolling Stones again live. Despite being a cold and rainy night, I had a very comfortable time and I was too happy in the two hours that the show lasted.

    Stones were awesome

    by A. S. on 12/20/21Ford Field - Detroit

Rolling Stones rocked! Just wish they were at a different venue. Ford Field in Detroit SUCKS for concerts. I've been to a few there and probably won't go back. They over pack the place. You have to park about 2 blocks away, if you're lucky enough to get that close. There's thousands of people walking in the street to get there then you wait a long time in line just to get in. My opinion is, it's a horrible venue for a concert. Little Caesars arena is so much better.
