The show was amazing and we had a great time as expected. I didn’t expect the seats to be temporary banquet like seats. They were not very comfortable and I felt like we were sitting on top of the people next to us
So sorry to have missed their performance, one of my favorite groups! I am of the danger zone age groups with many health issues so sadly chose to stay home. (3 empty seats!)
The Rippingtons never disappoint, they are the best Smooth Jazz band for the past 30+ years because of their ability to bring new and fresh music that is always top quality!! At the same time they give their fans the best of their old tunes with energy, excellence and they are tight as a drum, while delivering perfection!! If you haven't experienced a Rippingtons show, do yourself and your best friend a favor and go, you will not be disappointed!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. The group was awesome and did a nice mix of some of the original and new. Would love to see them again... Venue was nice too 😄
Ive listened to Russ for a number of years. The sound at this performance was poor. Would not recommend Russ to others.
Always a pleasure listening to Russ and the guys playing. I have been listening for a long time. I own 6 of their CD’s and go to hear them live when they are in town I. California when I was a resident there or this past weekend in my new home of Las Vegas! Thanks for the great show guys!
I went to this gig with a friend of mine who's a big fan. I wasn't all that familiar with the Rippingtons but was quickly impressed. Master musicians, all of them.
They have been together and making music for 30+ years and it is easy to see why. Great musicians with great music. Unselfish group of talent worthy of all the kudos.
I just want to begin by saying that the location at Ludlow Garage in Cinninnati was a perfect venue for the concert. I drove from Detroit to Cinninati to see "The Rippingtons feat, Russ Freeman". The hemisphere was cozy and the people there very friendly. The food,drinks,entertainment and hospitally was definitely on point. I look forward to making another travel to that location for future events. I have no compliants at all. I'm glad that I had an opportunity to see The"Rippingtons". This was the first time I seen them and been to this restaurant. Keep this location as one of your top on the list for future events.
Have been a Russ Freeman - Rippington's fan for many years. I was disappointed that Kashiwa wasn't with them, but WOW - Brandon Fields killed it. Phenomenal stage presence. Dave Karasony always delivers but has been with the keyboardist at the back of a big stage. Ludlow Garage was the perfect venue to see them all up close. They definitely have fun and it's infectious. Hope they come back to visit some time in the near future. I'll be there! Ending the encore with a Hendrix cover at a venue where, I believe, Hendrix once played gave me goosebumps. I wonder if Freeman appreciated the significance.
