About

The Luka State are Cheshire cats, Conrad Ellis (voice, guitar), Sam Bell (bass, voice), Jake Barnabas (drums) and Lewis Pusey (guitar). Their hometown is famous for salt mining, and not much else. Yet being halfway between Liverpool and Manchester, every kid in the town wants to be a footballer or pop star the minute they can kick a ball or play a guitar.

The Luka State chose music, although it was a close call for former semi-pro footballer Jake. 'Girl' is the latest in a series of highly acclaimed singles, which have received huge playlist coverage and airplay on BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and many more.

    Every part of the Concert was amazing! After the show we were able to meet the band, shake hands. If you get a chance to see these guys. Do it. Cause its worth every penny

    I've seen more bands live than I can count, and The Luka State is unquestionably one of the best. Not only are they insanely talented, but their energy is contagious, and you can tell they are so thrilled to be doing what they're doing. Not to mention they're extremely kind and personable people— I'm already excited for them to come back.
