    Long time

by Michael on 10/22/23Citizens House of Blues Boston - Boston

They sounded awesome, wish I had caught the Shame about Ray show. His voice was great, sound was perfect. Great place to see a band. First time seeing them and it was a great night, cannot wait to see them the next time they come around.

    Horrible sound quality

by Sk on 12/21/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

The sound at the Paradise was just not right. Lots of feed back and noise. We left half way through before he got to his solo act stuff. Hopefully they figured out the issue by then. Cheap SRO tix so you get what you pay for.

    Wait too long

by Barn Restorer on 12/20/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

The musicians all sounded great. My problem was the only info provided on ticket was that the doors open at 7 which they did. 1st band not on til 8. Then wait 40 min. Then next warm up. Then wait another 40 min. Lemon heads came on the stage at 10:20. Had been standing waiting for 4 hours at that point. Me and everyone else seemed tired by that point (older crowd). I left before they even got to Its A Shame, was so beat.

    Like fine wine

by Bird on 12/20/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Evan was awesome! I’ve been seeing him regularly since college and he just gets better with age. He played over a two hour set of all his goodies and we danced the night away!! Thank you for coming back to Boston and putting a smile on my face.

    Amazing show!

by Purple on 12/18/229:30 CLUB - Washington

It was an amazing show! It was my first time at the 9:30 Club. On Being an Angel, Juliana Hatfield and The Lemonheads were awesome!

    Wish I'd Never Gone

by David on 12/16/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Lemonheads is one of my absolute favorite bands... EVER!!! So, it pains me to say that their show (and the whole night of acts) at 9:30 Club was simply awful! Whoever does sound for Lemonheads and the 1st band should be fired, bc it was nothing but heavy noise over the singing, and it was hard to even understand the words most of the time. Julianna Hatfield was decent bc she just played guitar, and we got to hear her voice which is still pretty good. I left after the 8th or 9th song of Lemonheads bc there was no real spark. the performance was dull and plain old loud noise despite their singing some of their biggest at the start. A total and utter disappointment!!! Only good parts of the night were my company and that we got what is no doubt the BEST EVER parking spot for 9:30 Club. It's sad that the promising entertainment did not live up to even meager expectations!

    Great venue; so-so show

by Sic on 12/15/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Great venue....and Juliana Haltfield was great as an opening act. Lemonheads were so-so.....Dando seemed all over the place in his singing (music was good but singing seemed chaotic). Still enjoyed it but not nearly as good a show compared to when i saw Lemonheads around 2019

    Almost Painful to Watch

by DawnCandecide on 12/15/229:30 CLUB - Washington

I see a lot of 90's-era bands and was stoked to see the 30th anniversary show for Shame About Ray, but this one was a trainwreck from the beginning. Saw them late in the tour so no way they were still working the kinks out, but songs seemed unrehearsed. He stopped a few of them and restarted after fiddling with amp or pedal settings. Video playing on the backdrop was a 2 minute clip that just kept repeating, but showed the play button and timer at bottom, so it was like watching on a computer screen. The bassist and drummer seemed like talented musicians trying to keep up with someone who was all over the place with regards to timing. Over 1,000 people turned out for the show in DC... Maybe a nostalgic cash grab, but with an audience of that size, I would expect a little more production effort.

    Juliana Hatfield was a highlight

by Slim on 12/15/229:30 CLUB - Washington

Show was great. Guitar levels were a bit erratic, but no big deal there. Juliana actually getting up with them for several songs was the best thing I could hope for, that was awesome. Her solo set was great and worth the price of admission on its'own. Opening band, On Being An Angel greatly impressed me and made me go learn more about them. Evan and the band were great. Played all of the ones you love from back in the day, but also played a lot of new stuff and some covers. Lemonheads signature sound is still intact and moving forward. Go see them!
