Entertaining, educating and enthralling. Top shelf actors. Well done bravura performances by both!
One of the most engaging shows I have ever seen. The acting, set/lighting changes and writing were superb. This was an emotional journey that covered a lot of ground, with many layers. It was simply a joy that I was happy to have experienced.
The actors did an exceptional job in bringing two real-life figures onto the stage, and creating a connection between the two that the audience could share.
Minetta Lane Theatre is an intimate theatre experience. I was in the fist row and less than five feet away from the performers. I have been a fan of Kate Mulgrew for many years and I loved every moment of the show! I look forward to my next visit!
This play was so worth the plane ticket. Kate and Francesca brought life to the words in this play in firestorm of emotion. Kate Mulgrew owns the stage and you will laugh and cry with her. She is force of nature and phenomenal. I wish I could see it over and over again. I can’t wait to listen to this play on Audible. GO SEE THIS PLAY IF YOU CAN!! Kate and Francesca were very graceful afterwards and met with their fans to take pictures and sign playbills. A wondrous evening I wish I could repeat.
So interesting and well acted. Really enjoyed this play!!
Nice cozy theater, awesome performances by both. Kept me and my spouse engaged. It entertained and taught us a lot.
Wonderful play...! Dialogue is smart and funny! Great chemistry between actresses... So good..,
I’ve always loved movies & plays about science & scientists, I find them both theatrical & informative. I’m also a fan of Ms. Mulgrew as actress and author. I did not expect, however, to have such a memorable experience. Ms. Faridany was a revelation, never saw her before. She was totally real as the high-strung Marie, with an accent that seemed perfectly right and not at all fake-sounding. Ms. Mulgrew was cast perfectly as the sensible, sarcastic and compassionate Hertha. What a pair of actresses! Kudos to Ms. Gunderson for creating a world for them to inhabit to bring these real women to vivid life.
