    The Goods on the Garbologists

    by Melo B on 9/26/22

Great set design and garbage truck special effects. Two good actors. My sisters, nephew and I really enjoyed this play. An interesting rare glimpse into the lives of everyday living for garbage truck folks, however, I wasn't convinced as to why or didn't understand why Marlowe became a garbage collector. Creative name.

    Not our favorite play

by Ginger dog on 9/26/22North Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

There was too much vulgarity. They swore constantly, and the “dildos in the box” scene was a bit much.

    Very nice

Really enjoyed the set and the concept. Could have used a little more depth. Story needed a little more fleshing out.

    What fun

by SueL on 9/21/22North Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

Two actors and they kept our attention the entire time. It was a fun afternoon with laughs and a few moments of thought provoking statements. Enjoyed the play and the actors.

    Fabulous!!!

by Ann on 9/14/22North Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

This keen observer of life, Lindsay Joelle has written a poignant story bursting with humanity. The Garbologist is a study of two very different people brilliantly played by Tiffany Johnson and Luigi Sottile, who are work partners and gain great insight into each others’ lives. Love the coffee conversation and their fabulous garbage finds. Saw it twice!!! A must see!!!

Funny, yet serious and sad at times

by Patron on 9/14/22North Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - Skokie

We enjoyed the play and would recommend it. The lead male performer was great, although his character was a bit grating especially in the beginning (but that's the nature of the character). Once you got over that, the story evolved and started getting more interesting. Good set design.
