    Parking costs too much

by JimM on 9/25/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

Fortinet general parking was $25 and Ticketmaster then tacks on an additional $5 charge, so total parking was $30 and then there is a fairly long walk to the tournament as there isn't any shuttle. I've been going to the AT&T golf tournament for a long time, and they never charge for parking, and parking for the Barracuda Championships was $1 including a shuttle. Parking for the Fortinet event should be free. I was also surprised how few concession stands there were on the course.

It used to be a good event

by BCTaylor on 9/20/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

The redesign of the layout made the premium passes worthless. The food reminded me of something you would get at 7-11. Very disappointing experience. I'm not sure if we're going to attend again.

    Very disappointed

by TR on 9/19/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

Very few food/drink vendors throughout. The one vendor near the 9th ran out of water and beer before 2 pm on Friday. Only Budweiser products which I will not support! Need to bring back the huge Safeway tent with the center bar, wine tasting and numerous food vendors.

No water? Where are the concessions? So disappointing….

by SFALIAS on 9/18/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

It was blazing hot and no access to water stations ANYWHERE. You must let people bring water in if you are not going to provide water stations. There were VERY limited concessions - a Bar at the 1st Tee and a Bar and snack stand at the 17th hole - otherwise nothing available the entire length of the course. Such a great opportunity to have a fun day and just no access to any concessions. Then concert area was sparsely attended by the sponsors, so you had a packed GA area behind an empty sponsor VIP area - need to shrink the sponsor area for concerts so those paying for GA or VIP concert tickets have larger space. But honestly wont’ go again if you can’t bring in your own food and drink, or, they have more concessions.

    Fortinet Championship

by BK on 9/18/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

It was an incredible tournament. But please create a ticketing option for those that would just like to go to the tournament and not the concert.

I can’t wait for next year!

by Soco Gal on 9/18/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

I love the concerts here! You get up close and personal with great artists. Judah and the Lion put on a great show. I loved their stories and acoustic set. Brothers Osborne lit the place on fire. Parking was great this year- I was so glad not to have to take the shuttle and was able to walk in and out. There was a bit too much space cordoned off for VIP and the area wasn’t full. That’s not something any artist wants to see at their show. It would be nice to have at least one more food option. There were plenty of good drink choices! ( please add non- alcoholic beer.)

    What a mess

by Disappointed Dave on 9/18/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

To have a professional golf tournament and have 3 little food stands, 5 small bars and 1 stand, uncovered, for the average person to sit was really bad. The only place to sit was for the people who paid $250 per day. I counted the number of people in the suites on the 17th hole, there were 60 people, last year when it was for the general public, there were 250 people in that area, buying drinks and having a great time. What a shame. This used to be the "Fan Friendly Tournament"of the Year, now it is for the people who can afford to spend $900 a piece for the weekend. Not for the average person anymore. What a shame! We have been coming to this event for years. When it was Frys or Safeway, the average person had a Great Experience, now it is only for the Well Off. The average person, in my opinion can only have a below average time. There was No Local anything! We used to be able to sample different Napa Valley Wines, not this year. Eat Napa Valley Food from the great restaurants, not this year. Interact with the local charities, not this year. Next Year they should bring back the food tents for all to enjoy. Get back all of the local wineries for all to enjoy. Get back the Whiskey, Vodka, Rum, Gin companies together, for all to enjoy. Bring all of the experience back to the course, instead of having the Fan Village off to the side of the course where you cannot even enjoy your food while watching golf. What a shame. Bring back the Beers for Birdies hole, for all to enjoy! Bring back a Fan Friendly event. Not everyone is able to spend hundreds of dollars a day to watch golf in some sort of seat. The good points were 1) The Golfers. 2) The Location. 3) The Concerts.

    Attended Fortinet Golf

by Mar on 9/18/23Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa

Attended the golf tournament on Thursday. Several things that we were disappointed with was there was no programs and lack of concession stands. What we did like what is that there were lots bathrooms throughout the course. As you enter, there was a board that shows the layout of the course. I was told to take a picture of it to see the layout. Then they told me to go on the PGA website and get the schedule of who was playing and time they were playing. My husband and I are seniors and it would be very helpful to have a program so that we can find the schedule of who’s playing, time, and the layout of the golf course. Couldn’t understand if they did that because they were trying to save money or what. When we attended other golf events, they hand out programs to show all that information. I was told to look on the PGA Tour website for that information. As a senior citizen, it is hard to look at my iphone for that information.

Fun tournament and great concert following the golf

by DO on 9/26/22Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa Valley

Tournament is fun and set up for fan enjoyment along with player success. There are some regular concessions available (so so, not great) and some higher end food and drinks. Great sponsors with interesting activities as well. Unfortunately, saw more than a few attendees that were less interested in the golf and more in the drink opportunities. Were slightly disruptive but the players were fantastic! Post golf concert from x-ambassadors and one republic were terrific. X-Ambassadors are definitely performers and gave their all. One Republic was multi-dimension in there performance and they were really fantastic. It's a low key, outdoor concert environment and it was really a lot of fun. I would highly recommend both the event and seeing One Republic if you have the opportunity to do so.

    Meh!

by 707WineGirl on 9/22/22Silverado Resort & Spa - Napa Valley

This event needs to be better organized. When you pay for VIP parking, you park a mile away in a hay and dirt field and have to take a shuttle in. Signage was not clear at all throughout the entire venue. Staff weren't much better when trying to find our way to the VIP Pavilion. The VIP Pavilion also didn't have sufficient staffing or beverage stations. One station that sometimes only had one staff member working. People could upgrade their experience at the venue, allowing an overload of guests in a small space. Seating became difficult to find. The concert series did not disappoint. One Republic was scheduled and they rocked it!
