The Country Fair Tickets

Spent $180 on two VIP tickets. VIP was detailed as private bar and restrooms. Jon Pardi was to play at 9:00 pm on a Friday. We work on Fridays, so we showed up at 6:45 pm thinking we had plenty of time to grab a drink or two before the show. Jon Pardi was DONE PLAYING at 7:30. We stood in line at the VIP bar for over the entire hour we were there, confused why Jon Pardi was almost done, only to find out that they switched the time and ran out of beer. Only thing available to order after an hour in line was twisted tee. Horrible experience. I understand plans change and things can get out of control but a refund should be issued as we missed the entire show we paid for and nothing VIP about it.

This venue was an absolute trainwreck. There was little info about parking ahead of time. I waited in line for an hour and a half and then it was so slow getting people in the crowd started to cut the line. Then the event staff just let everyone in without checking tickets or bags. The concert area was blocked with a half wall and bleachers with no clear way to enter so people were scaling the wall and climbing up the back of the stands to get in. I paid for proffered ga and did not even get access to that area bc of the complete disregard for tickets. Then because of the rain delay, the concert only lasted 45 minutes. Zach Bryan was INCREDIBLE, but I will not be returning to this venue.

The line was extremely long and as soon as they started letting people the entire line rushed the gate and became a shoulder to shoulder crowd. Half of the people completely missed the first band. That is when they stopped checking tickets and just let everyone run the the gate. After waiting over an hour in a pushing crowd. I waited 45 minutes in the beer long and ended up getting out of the line to see the headliner. Terrible experience all around.

Didn’t use metal detectors, check bags or tickets. People hopping VIP section gate. No security. All flat so can’t see anything if not very front area. County has a 9:45 curfew so show had to stop at that time. Didn’t start the show until 8 after delaying for rain and not announcing it until after 7 after they said they would announce if they were still opening at 6:30.

Jon Pardi was great but nobody could see him. The stage set up was horrible and we came in thinking it was at the amphitheater. It was mulch and the stage was down low so you couldn’t see him unless you were in the very front

He played very few songs because of the country noise ordinance. It was disappointing because it was very short.

Will never pay to go to another concert at this venue. Needs a lot of work to make it worth 75$ total waste of money.

They where not ready for the amount of people that where there. No security and didn’t even look at my ticket when I went through the gate. I waited in line for two hours which is fine that’s normal but as soon as they opened the gates people stormed the gates and they didn’t tell anyone to go back in line they just pushed people through.

How is it that Washington Town & Country Fair and The Troy County Fair can pull off these events with Big Name headliners and you pay 1 price and it includes admission the Concert. Was not expecting to be standing behind an enclosure the entire time and was told blankets were allowed but the grounds surrounding the stage where all mulched and you'd be in the way of fair-goers if you planted your butt anywhere. Another attendee was trying to figure out how to get into the enclosed area because she had bleacher seats, when asked what they cost she said $90. You've got to be kidding! Bleachers, Chairs ALL included with those other 2 Fairs I mentioned. Think I'll be sticking to attending those instead.

The venue was not at the actual Chesterfield Amphitheatre, it was in the open field next to it. The field was not a good spot for the concert as a large number of concert goers couldn't even see the stage because of the way it was set-up. Jon Pardi was a good show, but the lack of communication regarding start times for the show because of weather issues was very frustrating. I was relieved that the concert on Saturday was canceled due to weather, this at least allowed me to get a refund. Not a good experience, very disappointing.
