About
Charles Warren Orchestra is a rock band. It features three Matts, two of whom first jammed on the James Bond theme at age 11. A bartender once told them that they’re weird because none looks like he would be friends with any of the others. But CWO likes that. It engenders a unique sound that has over many hours in Lower East Side rehearsal dungeons gelled into garage-inspired chaos. Live shows draw curious New Yorkers out of the woodwork. Everyone eventually surrenders to rock and roll.
