About

The Bombpops on Tour

California punk rock reverberates through the core of the Bombpops. Currently headlining their 27-stop tour throughout the United States, the Bombpops explode any concert venue they're at with melodic lyrics and upbeat, engaging pop-punk instrumentals. There have been many changes to the Bombpops since their creation; the band's current lineup includes lead singer and guitarist Jen Razavi, drummer Josh Lewis and bassist Neil Wayne. Co-founder and co-frontwoman for the Bombpops, Poli Van Dam, left the band in 2021 due to personal reasons. Along with the absence of Van Dam, the band has also had three different drummers and six different bassists over the years before landing on their current members. The Bombpops independently released their debut EP Like I Care in 2010. After striking a deal with the label Red Scare Industries in 2011, the band released their second EP, Stole the TV. In 2014, the Bombpops released their next EP Can of Worms, following it with a 26-stop tour across Europe in 2015 with the Gamits. After the tour, in 2017, the Bombpops signed with Fat Wreck Chords and with the help of Chris Fogel (frontman for the Gamits) producing, the Bombpops released their first full-length album, Fear of Missing Out. Their most critically acclaimed success came from their 2020 album, Death in Venice Beach, which made Alternative Press' Top 50 Albums of 2020 list.

The Bombpops Live in Concert

Forming in San Diego, California, in 2007, the Bombpops made a name for themselves performing with acts such as NOFX, the Descendants and Bad Religion. The band's name was decided on after an ice cream truck drove by the former drummer's house where he ordered a Lickety Lick Bomb Pop. The band was almost named Lickety Lick Bombpops, but (thankfully) they decided on the Bombpops. The group currently has over 6 million streams on Spotify; leading the pack is their hit "CA in July" off their 2017 album Fear of Missing Out. Fans online rave about the band and their performances, commenting that "the band deserves all the love they can get." The Bombpops' song "Dear Beer," from their 2018 four-song EP, Dear Beer, has over 1.3 million streams alone. The Bombpops, touring with the Last Gang, are sure to make a positive and head-banging impact on the thousands of fans eagerly waiting to hear them live.
