About

Set in that sassy Miami house in 1985, That Golden Girls Show! is a brand-new show that parodies classic Golden Girls moments - with puppets! Get set for an evening of cheesecake, laughter, jazzercise, shoulder pads, sex, and the elegant art of the quick-witted put down.

The show has it all, from Sophia's get-rich-quick schemes to Rose's tales from St Olaf, from Blanche's insatiable hunt for men and the Fountain of Youth to Dorothy's daily struggle make sense of her life -- all while keeping her roommates in check and fending off a certain pesky ex-husband once and for all.

Devoted fans will fondly remember our four girls from Miami, and for the first-timers, this will be a joyful introduction to the brilliance of that television series.

    great concept- poorly executed

by fanofpuppets on 3/6/20The Oncenter Carrier Theater - Syracuse

It would have been so fun if it was done well! If you're really bored, it's better than nothing. But I wouldnt make any great effort to go or spend money if you dont have extra. '

    A unique and fun experience

by K. K. on 2/26/20The Oncenter Carrier Theater - Syracuse

This a very funny and entertaining show done with puppets and live actors using facial expressions to enhance their performance. I thought the show was great and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys comedy and is looking for an alternative type of entertainment.

    Hilarious!

by Anonymous on 2/25/20The Oncenter Carrier Theater - Syracuse

This show is so funny! My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. The actors who control the puppets did an amazing job... they sounded just like Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia. Warning: this show is NOT for children!!

I was not really impressed w going. It was “a puppet show”. When I saw the stage I got excited then when Blanche came out I was amazed. I was so happy I went and these actors were amazing! The intro of Dorothy was A huge hit and the whole show just thrilled everyone! Keep going! You’re doing these ladies proud!!

Not as good as i expected

by Triggerfish on 1/22/20Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I didn't think there was a lot of funny parts. The writing relied mostly on Blanche's sexual endeavors for laughs. I was disappointed.

    Disappointed

by CooperMom on 1/22/20Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

The best and funniest thing was the gentleman who played Dorothy. Casting for Sophia and Rose not so good. Could barely understand what “Rose” was saying. A big yawn

    Golden Girls Puppet Parody

by Brickhouse on 1/22/20Amaturo Theater at Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

I laughed so hard, I almost peed on myself. This show was great! The lady who did Blanche was absolutely amazing. She had her voice down packed. This is a must-see for all of those Golden Girls fanatics.
