Taxi Vision Tickets

Taxi Vision has been called “the hottest thing to come out of Queens since the Son of Sam’s dog” and it’s not hard to hear why. Rave On! is alive with percussion, layered guitars, and harmonized vocals. While "Channel One" was built on kaleidoscopic arrangements of layered samples, the new single sets a new course for the band, painting their sonic landscape with live instrumentation, analog effects, and polyphonic vocals.

Taxi Vision began as guitarist/vocalist Matteo Battistini's experiment in combining punk songform with upbeat and danceable guitar elaborations. Victoria Cosmica (Downtown Boys, Malportado Kids) soon joined as vocalist and lyricist, singing and shouting classic pop melodies in harmony with Laura Pereira (Juan Wauters, Sessa). Rounding out the rhythm section is the dense percussive medley of Ernesto Papaleo (multi-instrumentalist/DJ) on bass, Matteo Ciambella (scholar/poet) on drums, and Karna Ray (The Kominas, La Neve) on percussion.
