Tale of Us Tickets

I had high hopes because the venue was the Olympic stadium which is huge and would be well big enough for Tale of Us to have their visuals and huge screens behind them. Turns out the show was in the BASEMENT with poor air circulation and a tiny stage. Place was packed, which is typical for a rave but this was uncomfortably so. On top of that they set up Port-a-potties INSIDE so they had this big room full of portapotties that stank and were generally gross. Didn't realize we had to pay an extra 15$ to get VIP Tix and get access to actual flushing toilets and front of stage access. All in all very disappointing show, poorly set up and for 100$ a ticket I'd expect to have access to a real washroom 🤬

Too crowded. Screen too small, people smocking inside…! Very disappointing for the price!

This show was far from the production level you’d expect given videos of Tale of Us on socials. Yeah they had the visual animations and some coordinated lighting FX, but it was the school assembly version. The brand of a Tale of Us show requires immersion. Ticket was $100 + for the Olympic Stadium. Was not expecting to be placed in a trade show hall of that stadium. Show had a simple rectangular LED wall with lights around its perimeter. The relatively low ceiling constrained visuals, so grandeur was scaled and in many cases also blocked by the duo on stage. There was no other lighting throughout space, so the special moments when on-screen characters unleash toward the crowd felt flat. Space would have benefit from another line of delay speakers for back third of room. Maybe this was a black box, plug & play type setup for any DJ. But I would like to think that the Tale of Us technical leads would have pushed organizers for better or not agreed to this gig given the constraints of the space. Only they & organizer know what happened between contract & execution. It speaks volumes when the artist doesn’t make a single post on socials from a show. I didn’t either.

Overall bad organisation. Bathrooms were horrible, path way to and from the dance floor is 1 staircase for over 8k people leaving. 20 dollars for bad alcohol, extremely limited choice of drinks. Overcrowded for the size of the venue The speakers weren't strong enough to block out the chatter of so many people, keeping in mind that the cement floors walls and ceiling are horrible for sound... Visuals were lame for 100$ ticket: a screen so small that unless you were stuck in the front was not impressive at all, and for trying to being in front... I've seen sardine cans less packed than the front stage was. Not to mention that if you did find a spot with room to dance the cement floor hurt my knees so much I felt it for 2 days. Conclusion... Never again...

I’ve been going to piknic for the past 12-15 years. This was by far the worst one yet. It was overcrowded and not well Organized. The lines for drinks were long and the bar ran out of Tiquila & mixers by 1am….. horrible night we spent most of the night outside as inside was gross.

It seems like the venue itself cheaped out. It was not epic enough quality for it to be a Taleofus show. Small screen, small venue, etc. It wasn’t grand enough quality for it to be an incredible show. Anyma & Mrak crushed the set itself, which I had no doubts about.

Worst organization i have ever experienced in my life. Poor venue selection. Sound was completely echoeing, no fresh air, too many people. I cannot understand how an organization book such a big artist and end up messing up with basics.

it was very unorganized. since the very beginning to the end. i did not enjoy the experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by A Drift Radio and by Molyness. Disappointed by Tale of Us. Visuals not as impressive as expected. VIP dance area to crowded. VIP lounge area had no good view and could have had seating and better bar.
