Florida’s own Surfer Blood has released their second full-length album, Pythons, via Warner Bros./Kanine Records. It’s timeless collection of songs that fit together to create a cohesive album and the perfect soundtrack to a summer road trip. NPR says it’s a “simply dynamic summer pop record”.
My favorite band to see live! I didn’t know they existed until my friend took me to their show and now I’m hooked. I was also able to meet them at the second show I went to and they dedicated my favorite song to me! I’d advise everyone to see them. I must see for sure!
The music, energy, and love filled the room ...we danced all night! Great to be out and hear GREAT MUSIC!!!!
These guys were awesome. Sounded amazing, and were really gracious with the crowd -- the lead singer stuck around on stage afterward to shake everybody's hand and thank them for coming out. Highly recommend seeing them! Not to be missed.

Fantastic cozy venue and Suefer Blood are true pros. They sound like the Smoking Popes, but better and more rockin. Highly recommend and John is a great guy and performer.
The venue is quite cavernous and echoey - it was consistently difficult to hear clear vocals with all three bands. Of course Surfer Blood ruled - awesome energy for the very first night of their tour!
Surfer Blood put on a really good show at The Bowery Ballroom. The music was good and they played with energy and passion. And the music wasn't the exact same as the CD - they mixed it up well, made some changes, and made it a unique performance. All in all, I will definitely see them the next time they're in town.
